Berrinba is a recently rehabilitated old sand mining area on Scrubby Creek with creek, lagoon and bushland habitats. A three kilometre concrete pathway circles the area, hugging the edge of one large and a number of smaller shallower lakes, and also passes through eucalypt woodlands. The Club had its first visit to this spot in October last year with 58 species recorded (Birds Qld Newsletter Dec 08).
