我在淘宝的店家很负责,得到我的反馈之后,马上给新西兰生产厂家发了email。如下是对方的回复:
Dear kevin:
Thank you for your question to Babytimes.
Your Question was: "Residue of milk"
What you describe as sand could be undissolved minerals or scorched milk particles.
From time to time we do get some small amounts of slightly browned milk particles in formulas and Toddler milk. These are not harmful.
The process for manufacturing milk powder involves transforming liquid milk into a dried particles by passing the milk though an evaporator to remove wate! r. The concentrated milk is then sprayed into a hot drying chamber which converts it into dried milk powder particles.
Scorched particles are formed from overheated or burnt milk powder particles. These particles range in colour from light brown to black. They usually originate from product build-up in the manufacturing plant.
Scorched particles only come from our supplier as our factory has no heating process.
Scorched particles are a common occurrence in the milk powder manufacturing process and although unsightly, they are harmless and do not pose a risk to food safety.
Scorched milk particles are not harmful to babies and are not is not a health risk.
We are aware that recently some of the minerals (e.g. iron) in the product may not completely dissolve. We are confident from analysis that such a small amount of incompletely dissolved minerals appearing as visible specks does not significantly impact the nutritional status of the product and! that this is not a safety issue.
If there is ever any proble m with any undeserving particles in our formula, and if you were in New Zealand, we would arrange to collect the can and have the contents independently analysed, then send you a report. I would therefore like to suggest you contact us on our Nutricia Advisory line at 0800 688 742 in order to find out the details of the formula in question and possibly have it picked up for further analysis.
Kind Regards
