it is considered high class entertainment. tickets range from $80 to $120 roughly. depending on the theatre (opera house is the most expensive of course, the next is the Lyric Theatre in Star City casimo) and music.<br>
besides, there is dressing code for most of the operas, musicals, orchectras etc. i have alsways seen people in Tuxedos or night gowns around opera house in the evening (i work close by).<br>
pop concerts are much cheaper. some HK singers came and tickets range form $30, 40 to around $100.<br>
above information is in Sydney only.<br>
and, I have never been to any in the last 5.5 years. xixi....<br>

i remember paying 100 for Metallica, 120 for U2, 100 for Rolling Stones... etc ... all are shit seats ... u would need 250+ to get a good view in open play ...
