护照公证可以代替出生公证吗？

189 Visa Check List 关于 Personal documents for applicants 有如下的一段话，我理解应该是可以用护照公证代替出生公证的，不知道有没有什么误解。
Documents to prove your identity—a certified copy of your birth registration
showing the names of both parents. If a birth certificate is not available, you
must provide a certified copy of the identification pages of at least one of the
following:
• passport
• family book showing both parents’ names
• identification document issued by the government
• document issued by a court that verifies the person’s identity.
If you are unable to provide one of these documents, you must provide other
acceptable evidence that you are who you claim to be

我听说的是出生公证是申请签证必须的。在职业评估阶段可以用护照公证来替代出生公证。

护照上没父母的信息，所以不能代替出生公证，至少中国的申请人都得提供出生公证。

肯定不行，不然很多人不会那么痛苦的准备出生证明了

尽力搞定出生公证是上策。

你的档案管理部门出具的证明，加上户口本、父母的身份证，公证处就认可。

记住，出生公证要多多要副本，八份、十份都不会闲着，你到了澳洲有用得着的时候。

不用那么多吧，做三四份，并且只用JP certify的副件就行了。

副本10元/份，比到澳洲复印后再找JP签字省时省钱。
