June 9-11 2012 walking nearby Coffs Harbour

Winter is coming in weeks, and going to north coast during Queens Birthday long weekend June 9-11 2012 may be the good option.

Everyone know Coffs Harbour for different reason, for examples, Muttonbird Island or waterfalls nearby. There are many beautiful national parks and great walking tracks you may not aware.

We will explore Coffs Harbour and nearby on June 9-11 2012, and walk the 17th of 18 best day track there.

It is compulsory to have your name, contact number, the contact details in emergency if you are willing to join walking with Sydneyhiking Club. We will not disclose your any personal information to third party without your consent. See 1# of Sydneyhiking Club for the terms and conditions.

The Sydneyhikng Register Form could be obtained from petercai08@hotmail.com

Please consider your own fitness before joining this trip. The organizer reserves all the rights to make selection of suitable participant(s).


Outdoor activities carry their own risks of injury and death. The Organizer has no any control over what the participant does, and cannot accept any liability for any loss or accidents which the participant might suffer.

I have booked a holiday apartment at Ocean Parade of Coffs Harbour for myself.

There are plenty of holiday apartments, motels, or even backpackers (at different budget) at that street.

已经订了这个住宿,包早餐,4个人(2大2小)原价$150,一忽悠,老板娘直接给$130/晚.还剩2间,有需要的可以去问问看.

It is only less than 8 KM to the starting point of 17th of 18 walking tracks

Everyone need arrange his/her own transportation and accommodation.

We will have half day walk at "Bird" Island for June 9 2012
whole day walk at Dorrigo NP and nearby for June 10 2012
and additional half day walk along the lakes nearby and/or Manning Valley for June 11 2012.

There are plenty of motel(s), holiday park(s), Caravan Park(s) or Bed & Breakfast at Coffs Harbour region while camping space is still available in some holiday park or caravan park.

I believe we would have great 3 days outdoor activities and may even be better than what we had during Easter 2012 in Royal NP, Sydney Harour NP，草山和冰山。

10日爬山徒步看瀑布照相一天可能有点小累，如能晚上火锅BBQ或其它腐败是一个好主意，而且也不耽心发胖。
