其实，ACS评估完成好久了，一直没有来介绍一下，现在继续介绍一下我的ACS评估历程吧，供后来者参考。
上回（https://www.freeoz.org/ibbs/viewthread.php?tid=718638&page=1&extra=page%3D3%26amp%3Bfilter%3Ddigest#pid713519）说过
大学课程达到或者超过20%计算机相关（数学课程也算），那么就上面这些东西就够了，我没有达到，所以还要写两篇项目报告和填写RPL表
结果，ACS的状态一直是to be allocate，已经过了1月25号了，看来那5分注定是要丢失的了。我这个人命苦，有时间的时候总是奢侈的浪费掉，每次都是紧赶慢赶末班车，结果还不一定能赶上，当然，大部分时候还是被我赶上了，嘿嘿。
过了几天，我又登上去查状态，查状态的网址在ACS签收后会发一封电子邮件过来，上面有网址和你的id还有密码，我的网址是：

结果发现状态变成了awaiting documents，我吓一大跳，怎么回事？我是否错过了什么？邮箱里面啥都没有，那他们要等我什么资料呢？
不过这个时候，状态信息里面的受理人信息已经有了，是 Sally Zarka ，我google了一下，找到她的邮件地址：sally.zarka@acs.org.au
于是我就发了一封email去问她，说很高兴是您帮我办理评估，我发现状态变成什么什么，能否告诉我需要什么资料云云。
她给我回了一封邮件，说xx天前已经email给你了，现在重发一次，我又吓一跳，再仔细检查一遍收件箱，什么都没有，后来想想不对，马上点开垃圾文件夹，好家伙，真被过滤在里面，原来gmail我虽然设了过滤器，只要带.gov.au的，都进移民文件夹，结果没留意acs是.org.au的，还好，没几天，我马上修改了过滤器，只要是.au的，都不放过，呵呵，结果后来导致很多maillist里面的.au的邮件也进来了，不过没关系拉，有错杀，不放过。这样保险点。
邮件很清楚的要求我补料,主要有3点：
1。我因为是RPL的，所以需要6年的Employer References ，我只提交了4年，因此还要找两年
2。我的一个sun认证因为是国外机构签发的，广州省市公证处都拒绝为我做公证件，但是邮件要求All original documents (and the translation into English where required) are to be photocopied and certified by an official of the appropriate immigration office, a Justice of the Peace or a notary public official. Photocopies or faxed copies of certified documents are not acceptable.
3。我的RPL表填得不详细，Section 3 of RPL needs to be more specific and detailed 需要more details
因此我又花了差不多1个月时间来准备这些材料。
首先，我又找回6年前的公司的上司和老板，找他们签了一个reference，这个最简单了，呵呵
其次，因为IT证书国内没法做公证，我只好寄到澳洲，找白菜，让他将复印件找一个太平绅士帮我签字，然后帮我直接寄到ACS，这个比较麻烦，不过没办法，我唯一一个具有含金量的证书啊，不搞就费了
第三，也就是最费时间的，因为上回说过，老宋给我提供那个俄罗斯的网站上面有范本，可惜年代久远，也许，当时那样写就足够了，今非昔比，今时今日是不够了，我只有满世界到处找，又仔细通读RPL and Core Body of Knowledge，

我又找了一个英国的网站： http://www.rplhelp.co.uk/rpl.html
不过这个网站是收费的，我只能看到前面的一部分，不过结合文档，这三个也就基本差不多了，下面我就把我自己的RPL全部贴在这里，供后来者参考吧，不收费，嘿嘿
当然，你们不能全抄我的，不过可以仿照我这种写法，毕竟，最后我这份材料是成功的通过了评估的
RPL有几部分，
SECTION 1:General Information
这些都是自己的个人信息，如实写即可，值得注意的是，TYPE OF WORK里面一定要注明：

SECTION 2:就要在那个课程列表清单里面打勾了，如果你懂的，学过的课程就打勾，如果没学过，就打叉。记住，打了勾的，section 3就要很详细的描述了
下面我就把我的SECTION 3:贴出来给大家参考，呵呵
AREA OF KNOWLEDGE
| RELEVANT PRIOR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE RELATED TO WHAT LEARNED from Type of work (From Section 1(b) (c) and (d))
| Computer Organization and Architecture
| I took this course in university, which was a part of qualification certificate of Computer Software Junior Programmer. From this course, I understood the difference type of CPU, the CISC approach attempts to minimize the number of instructions per program, sacrificing the number of cycles per instruction, and the RISC does the opposite, reducing the cycles per instruction at the cost of the number of instructions per program. And, I understood the basic architecture of the computer, structure of the personal computer (I used Apple –II and IBM PC AT/XT at that time). I learned to use ASM language and ANSI C language wrote some I/O control programming. I understood DOS and UNIX File Systems like FAT and UFS.
| Conceptual Modeling
| I took this course in university, which was for the qualification certificate of Computer Software Junior Programmer. The content of this course included the abstract model (or conceptual model), the structures of the relational database, data domain, keys, foreign keys and other structured query language. I used dBase and FoxBASE as practitioner software at that time.
| Database Management
| I learned this from my job.
I have more than 12 months work experience in Oracle database management. In P.R.China, most of the SUN servers were used for Oracle DB. I also implemented more than 20 Oracle relational projectssince 2001, including installation and configuration, trouble shooting,performance tuning, table space planning, database backup and restore.I maintained company internal Oracle DB server for management systemand testing demo for more than 2 years. I also had some Oracle baseapplication software developing experience before 2001. I also use MySQL on Solaris x86 and Linux to build company website. I planned the physical and logical data files structure and scheduled the data backup, used PHP and Structure Query Languages to develop the online application. I had implemented a server less backup project for MS SQL Server 2000 on Ms Windows 2000 using iQstor intelligent storage system data service software.

| Throughout my IT career I have gained knowledge from working withnetworks, I used Novell LAN in 1994. I learned 'TCP/IP Principle'course, understood that OSI 7 layer model. IP is responsible for movingpacket of data from node to node. TCP is responsible for verifying thecorrect delivery of data from client to server. I had managed 20 and50 nodes office LAN in company. I had setfirewall use ipfilter for Solaris. I had installed file server toshare communal files in office use Samba and Wu-FTPd for Solaris inSun server. I set FTP writable but Windows share read only to preventvirus. I implemented and managed company internal and public Webserver use Apache for Solaris. I installed company email system using Sendmail, Qmail, Openwebmail in Solaris. I also have more than 3 months work experiencein developing, supporting and maintaining IP-SAN architecture.
| Data Structures and Algorithms
| I studied this course in university to prepare for the Computer Software Junior Programmer qualification certificate and I have many working experiences as well. The course name is Data Structures, Algorithms, and Applications in C Language. I got knowledge and understood algorithms and data structures and the associated design and analysis techniques from this course, including Analysis tools: running time, pseudo-code, algorithm analysis, asymptotic notations, and Trees: basic algorithms on trees, binary trees, representing trees, Graphs: traversal, directed graphs, weighted graphs, minimum spanning trees and so on. I use that knowledge in my software developing career. I developed database applications and E-commerce applications and web solutions programs.

| Interpersonal Communications
| I have been learning about interpersonal communications all my life. Having good interpersonal communication skills is essential to have successful work relationships. I have developed strong interpersonal skills that allow me to successfully communicate with people of all levels. As a software developer, I wrote work reports, project process forms, and designed presentation. As a team leader, I conducted work meeting and brainstorming. As a system support engineer, I had solid background of written and verbal communication with clients (including teaching and consulting by phone and e-mail). As a consultant at various clients, I wrote proposals and presentations in my daily work. I also have experience of interview, formal meeting and team building.

| Program Design and Implementation
| I had solid background in designing and developing web applications and the other applications, mainly in ASP, PHP, PB, C, Shell script. I joined computer extracurricular interest groups in high school in 1987, and learned to write my first program using BASIC language. I finished a Finite Element Analysis program using Fortran language in university in 1990. My college graduation thesis was Developing a CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning) Program using FoxBASE in June 1993. I started my programming career from joining company MIS (Management Information Systems) program implementation in Dongfeng Motor company in 1994. I understood the whole program life cycle. I have more than 4 years programmer experiences including program testing, implementation and design. I had the capability to do this job well including understanding the requirement of the customer, design of the program structure and logic documents, selecting program languages, organizing the develop programmer team and program coding, testing and implementation. I had the capability to write formal design documents, program documents, testing report documents and implementation documents.

| Project Management
| I learned this course through reading the book Information Technology Project Management (2nd Edition) (Kathy Schwalbe). The project management tool software that I used including Microsoft Project and IBM Rational Portfolio Manager. And I also had project management practical experience in my job. I used project management knowledge to control software life cycle and quality and keep enough development documents as the software programmer. I was appointed as project manager for more than 10 Sun Server system or Storage system implementation projects, mainly to project schedule and resource allocation, in working for company. Our company use IBM RPM System to manage the project life cycle and calculate engineer work time costing now.

| I had good knowledge of PC and network security involving file systems related security methods such as NTFS file permissions, DACL, ACL, EFS, Protected Storage; Windows share permissions, Solaris UFS ACL; Microsoft AD enterprise security settings and secure interoperations (VPN). I had experience of Solaris operating systems security. I had experience of installing Ipfilter firewall on Solaris OS. I also had knowledge of encryption technique such as DES, RSA and developed some user authentication program used DES encryption functions in my e-busyness application project.

| I got introduced to system analysis and designfrom my job. I studied the classic Waterfall lifecycle of system development. I understood the systems are created to solve problems in an organized way. I finished more than 10 system solutions design projects independently from 2005 as a pre-sales engineer. I had great knowledge of enterprise system architecture, data backup solutions and enterprise business continuity solutions now. I have abundant experiences in data protect and security, database fast backup and restore, remote disaster recovery solutions and Oracle database system solution planning, configuration, implementation and management.

| Whilst at university, I studied the Operating System Principle. Throughout my career I have worked with operating systems closely. Whilst career change course to Software Engineer and System Engineer, I learnt about operating system and the main features; File creation and manipulation; Directory structures and System tools from MS-DOS and Unix. I have great skill in Sun Solaris from user level operation to complex security and administration. I have mainly taught courses Solaris 8 OS System Administration I (SA-238) and Solaris 8 OS System Administration II (SA-288) for company Solaris training center in 2001. I studied Linux kernel from 1997. I understood the knowledge of the process management, thread management, and file system and device management.

就这样，经过了1个多月的准备，我将补充材料寄出了，多花了几次快递费，郁闷
收到材料后，很快就状态改变为IP，wa，cf了。
这个时候再没有email通知，只有等结果信寄过来，真慢啊，也不知道来的是一个什么结果。
cf后那段时间，每天下楼第一件事和下班回家第一件事就是打开信箱，看看里面有没有信，提心吊胆的过了半个月
终于，看到了那封印有蓝色标志的ACS结果信，兴奋不已，拆开一看，通过了，呵呵
不过，我申请的是ASCO 2231-11，结果回来的是2231-19。
至此，ACS评估全部完成，下一回将是更加没有什么把握的州政府提名申请了。
