I don't think your childcare is a good one. My daughter is very shy and didn's speak English at all when she started her childcare. She was a difficult kid for any childcare centres, but the teachers there are very patient and kind, they even tried to learn Chinese to make my daughter understand. Unless the kids are very sick, they won't call parents to take the kid back. and they have a registration book, in case the kids got accident, even just a small scratch, they will write down what had happened and let parents know.
My daughter cried every time she went to the centre at begining. But now she wants to go there even at weekends!

Dear xiaoxue0826,
Could u tell me which one is so nice for child care?
My daughter is also a shy girl, and sometimes are little ramstam, so i feel a little anxious whether she will shake down in short period after landing.
no, I am not in Sydney, but in Mel. Go and check a few more Centers, have a chat with their director and the teachers in the room that your kid are going to. Usually you will have a feeling straight away if you like them or not. My childcare centre gave me two days of orientation, (I think most centres do so), you can spend these days with your kid to see how the teachers looking after kids, and their daily routine. They don't charge you for these two days.
and one more point probably will be useful to you. My daughter started part time at the begining. I mean she spend half day there in the first three months, twice a week. Although I had to pay full day fee, I think it was worthwhile so that she could have sometime to get used to the life and new people. You can do so, but don't be less than twice a week. otherwise your daughter will forget her experiece in the child care, and next week, you will have to start all over again.
