最近收到了一个猎头的LinkedIn InMail，问是否感兴趣做嵌入式BMS（Battery Management System）的开发职位，在布村。如果没有的话，也欢迎我推荐合适的人选。
应该是设计电池控制器电路板，以及后继相关Firmware，以及嵌入式Linux中相关驱动的开发（涉及一堆外设总线）。
这个职位特殊的地方是，候选人需要会讲普通话，哈哈，从而和这个公司在中国的工厂联系。

This organisation has just undergone a major Fund Raising program and is supported by Kleiner Perkins Caulfield Byers, a major international Venture Capital firm, Samsung, Australia’s Southern Cross Venture Partners and other Japanese and Chinese interests. They are already a significant supplier to the Chinese EV battery market and the stationary storage market in the USA and are committed to major R&D initiatives in the Australian market.
About the Role
----------------------------------
Our client is currently looking for an engineer to be involved in the software and hardware design and adaptation of customized battery management systems for battery storage systems aimed at the Australian and global marketplace.
The successful candidate will be engaged in tasks such as:
Chip selection;
Circuit design;
Battery pack design;
Firmware programming;
Evaluation of battery management systems;
Battery pack testing and quality management;
Client interactions including testing and site visits for installation and troubleshooting;
The role will require the candidate be able to understand and implement communications systems using protocols such as CAN bus, I2C and Modbus. This is a fast paced environment so the ability to learn quickly and apply new skills will be critical. Being a dynamic startup environment, duties may cover many other areas within the company. Their offices are in Brisbane and California with manufacturing facilities in China so some travel will be required as part of the job.
Skills and Experience

Experience with battery management systems;
Experience with Lithium Ion batteries and battery pack design;
Embedded systems or firmware development;
Good understanding of and experience with circuit design;
Experience with manufacturing and quality systems;
Technical writing;
Mandarin speaking;
