补充一下,刚刚得到的官方答复, 是可以得到一个临时驾照的。一会开个新帖告知需要的童鞋。
In order to convert your qualified oversea licence you will need to arrange an appointment at a VicRoads Customer Service Centre (CSC) which you may find via this link http://go.vic.gov.au/fMdBDj , where upon confirmation of your residency and Identity documents, completion of a successful eyesight test, and receipt of payment you will be immediately issued with a temporary Victorian licence while your physical licence arrive. For detailed information about the appointment process please refer to this link http://go.vic.gov.au/5XuJr4 .
As soon as you have this temporary licence in your hand, you will be immediately able to drive legally in Victoria. If you wish you may book this appointment from overseas by contacting the VicRoads Call Centre on 13 11 71 within Australia, or on + 61 3 8391 3216 from overseas (8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 2.00pm Saturday) to ensure you secure your licence as soon as possible. However, given that you have been a permanent resident for over 6 months, until you have purchased your Victorian licence, there is no bridging licence to allow you to drive.
