A Leading Global bank is looking for an Information Security Officer to join their Sydney based team. As the Information Security Officer, you will be 2IC to the Information Security Manager with the responsibility overseeing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Banks information systems, resources and data.

The Role

• Monitor implementation of all Information Security Standards and Procedures.
• Review guidelines and procedures to ensure it complies with the Information Security regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all Information Security rules and controls
• Assist in the reinforcement of Information Security.
• Develop on-going risk assessments
• Responsible for management and resolution of Security incidents.

The Successful candidate will have:
• Min 2-3 years experience in the Information Security and IT Security.
• Good understanding and working knowledge of Policies and Procedures that regulate Information Security
• Excellent Communication skills
• Exposure to Physical security.
• Degree in IT and/or related field would also be advantageous.
