Some people believe that visitors to therir countries should follow local customs and behaviour.Others disagree and think that the host conutry should welcome cultural differences.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Several decades have seen the awareness of visitors' travelling to other countries.The topic of whether visitors shhould obey domestic cluture is substantial to both country and individual.Some people think that visitors to other countries should follow local cunstoms and behaviour.Others,however,disagree that.
It is necessary for a host country to accept cultural differences from visitors of other countries.Accordingly,the visitors will bring different cluture to this city.In the past,Chinese ate traditional food.When the European visitors came to China and bring their idea of fast food ,the restaurant of fast food,such as Mcdonald and KFC appear in more and more cities of China and Chinese like it and enjoy its efficiency.Further more,the communication with each country enhances the global economy.There has been a growing trend that the people in one country prefer opening their companies in other countries.Lastly,in terms of some individual reason,one person visits to one country not only for travelling in this city, but also for transferring the cluture about his or her country.Like my foreign teacher in my college, Lary which is from America, teaches us the European history.
On the other hand, accepting different culture also has risks.It is undeniable that different culture will erode the local one.Due to the proliferation of English, as the international language, more and more Chinese children and parents spend enormous time on it ,neglecting the study of local language.
Baised on the above arguement ,it is commonly believed that the country which is used to absorbing other clutures has been established well, despite some risk ,such as language eroding. |
