We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Sydney office. In this role you will be responsible for participating in a variety of challenging systems and software development projects, in a fast-paced environment.  The ideal candidates should have a passion for DevOps and a desire to be involved in designing, building, and supporting highly scalable web-based systems.

Responsibilities:

Supervision of engineering systems (Development, Dev-QA, Staging, and Production) for our OSS/BSS platform.
Maintain the automated Jenkins build system which kicks off unit tests and Selenium tests for continuous integration (a critical part of our Agile process).
Maintain Crucible and FishEye instances in Amazon AWS.
Face various networking-related challenges including routing, NAT, port forwarding, configuring firewalls, and http proxies.
Maintain a reliable infrastructure based on Amazon AWS, as well as physical servers in the data center.

Requirements:

Expert level experience with Linux system internals (OS & Networking).
Expert level of scripting skills in 2 of Perl/Python/Ruby/Bash languages.
Basic SQL and MySQL admin experience.
Must have experience with medium to large scale n-Tier infrastructure.
Great problem solving and debugging skills are must haves.
The ability to remain calm and effective in the face of unexpected changes.
Ability to work closely with others under pressure.
Experience with operating high traffic websites and highly available we systems a plus.
Practical experience with distributed systems a plus.
