2. 更多的格式支援，以及更多的功能
2.1 支援格式有：[size=13.3333px]Text、ePub、PDF、mobi、CHM、Zip. 哇，epub也支援了。隨著iBooks愈來愈多人使用，ePub格式的電子書比以往更容易找到資源。找到epub格式的文件後，只要直接傳送到Kindle上，就可以閱讀，不用再經過複雜的轉檔過程。這樣還不吸引人嗎？
2.2 針對每種格式所支援的功能：這些在原本的Kindle上就有的功能，多看全都有支援。TOC (table of contents), bookmarks, highlight, notes, text reading(both in English and Chinese), automatic page turning, font type/size change, etc.
2.3 [size=13.3333px]支援stardict格式的字典字庫。 除了可以使用stardict的字庫外，多看系統也支援字典發音，不過前提是要先有聲音檔。
2.4 [size=13.3333px]雙重開機系統： 雖然多看系統很強大，但是有的時候你可能還是想要使用原本kindle上的reader來閱讀一些檔案；這時，你可以在設置中，重新開機，切換到原本的Kindle DX軟體。要再回到多看系統的話，也是再重開機就行了。
3. 針對Kindle軟體原有功能的加強
3.1 [size=13.3333px]PDF放大功能: 除了固定的縮放比例外，多看還支援讓使用者自訂邊界。自訂邊界比固定的縮放比例要有用多了。
3.2 [size=13.3333px]PDF閱讀: 可以設定文字顏色加深的程度。在Kindle DX上，雖然已經可以很方便地看pdf的文件，但是有些時候還是會遇到書藉內的文字顏色顯示過淡的問題。 一般的作法是把畫面轉成橫的，當字體變大時，文字顏色就會加深一些。但是在多看系統內，只要直接設定加深程度就行了。這個功能讓我降低了些購買新一代Kindle DX的慾望。
3.3 [size=13.3333px]所有的功能在畫面上都設有快速鍵，可以透過鍵盤一鍵就取得。 還記得在Kindle DX中，面對書庫一大排的書藉清單，要閱讀最下面的書籍時，要用方向鍵不斷地往下移動；或是在選單中，也必須透過方向鍵上上下下地來選取想要的功能。在多看系統中，這個功能得到了很好的改進。在所有的選項前，都會標有一個數字或字母，或是後面會標有快速鍵的按法。透過鍵盤的操作，讓使用者可以啟動畫面上看得到的書籍或功能，大大減少了使用方向鍵的需求。
3.4 [size=13.3333px] 快速切頁： 這是個超棒的功能。當朋友看到Kindle DX時，都覺得很特別；但還是有的人覺得切換畫面時的閃動有些刺眼而難以接受。雖然我自己是沒有這樣的困擾，不過如果這點可以改善的話，應該可以吸引更多的使用者。不知多看開發團隊是怎麼克服這個問題的。Kindle出來這麼久了，怎麼Amazon自己不花點時間把這一點好好改善一下。在多看中，有三個翻頁的選項： 其中一個就是快速翻頁。有Kindle的人一定要試一下那速度感。這是多看系統所有功能中，我最喜歡的一個。
升级步骤：1.必须确保kindle根目录下有DK_System，DK_Documents，DK_Pictures这三个文件夹，如果没有去这个地址下载
2. 然后下载下面对应的升级包（B006，B008，B00A），把升级文件放到kindle的根目录，然后安全删除硬件。
3.在kindle的HOME界面，按MENU键，选择“Settings”。MENU菜单消失后，再次按MENU键，选择“Update Your KIndle”，之后机器会自动升级，等升级到成功后，机器会自动重启，几分钟后 当系统运行到系统切换界面时，迅速点击“Q”即可进入多看系统。

安装前请确认一下自己机器的“Serial Number” ，去“K3升级包”文件夹下找对应的升级包。
如果是以B006开头的 就对应update_duokan_06.bin这个升级包；
如果是以B008开头的 就对应update_duokan_08.bin这个升级包；
如果是以B00a开头的 就对应update_duokan_0a.bin这个升级包；
目前，朗读不能使用，音量还不能调节，下次发布的版本会修复这两个问题

不果，话说回来，我也见到给Kindle DX的多看稳定版放出来了一段时间，电量的问题还是没怎么解决......
)，这样就可以完全自动化每天往Kindle上发送新闻了
(试用多看朗读功能时...大家不要试)，下面是Kindle死机恢复方法
1、强制关机后再开机：断开KINDLE的USB线；滑动电源键并保持30秒；放开后等待30秒；假如未能系统启动(屏幕会黑白交易几次，以及会出现一个人坐在大树下看书，下面会有进度条)，请滑动一下电源键并放开，等1分钟；假如仍未看到启动画面，表示系统无法强制关机。
2、系统电池耗尽后再开机：断开KINDLE的USB线；放置设备一段时间，根据当前电量，等待时间不确定，可能十几小时天或几天吧，插上USB线并充电，等1分钟后，假如系统仍不能启动，请拔下USB线，然后继续放置。
3、系统Reset：假如觉得方法2太费时间，那就拆开后盖，进行系统复位。断开USB连接线。拆开后面的塑料挡板后，在耳机插孔附近有一个圆圆的小洞，里面是金黄色的圆点，用牙签或什么其他东西按一下，系统即进行复位，一分钟之内，应该就能看到启动画面。假如看不到，请参阅变砖的恢复。
“多看”系统支持的格式很多，想必大家经常想着往里装填书刊，我的书刊主要是从以下这些网站下的（其中一些有些朋友已在本版列出），一并附上我的个人评价，与大家分享。
1、www.coay.com
——个人推荐，图书非常多，但期刊较少，关键是“免币”，原来限定每天每个账号最多下载50本，最近据说上调为500本。
2、www.shucang.com
——图书期刊兼顾，数量较多，质量较好，还有一些个性化的整理作品，例如“书仓每周书评”，每天登陆一次可以增加5个积分，但如果只下不传，可能经常积分不够。
3、www.cnepub.com
——书也很多，但“书币”难挣。
4、www.dooland.com
——期刊下载首选网站，可用在Kindle 2的自带浏览器中输入kindle.dooland.com并存为书签，多为过刊，但也有不少新刊，直接选择下载后默认保存在Kindle 2的documents目录下，全为mobi格式，全部剪切至多DK Documents目录下即可。
5、然后就是一些常用资源类网站，例如http://ishare.iask.sina.com.cn（新浪共享资料）；www.verycd.com（电驴）；www.gougou.com（迅雷狗狗）。
