标题: 兰迪的生词本 - 我爱背单词
词汇是学习英语的基础,我曾经有个比喻,有了大的词汇量就好像学武功的人内力深厚,练任何招式都会变得比较容易。

试想如果一个句子里面就有2,3个单词你根本不认识,你怎么可能看得懂呢?更不可能听得懂了吧?

我开这个帖子,主要是为了自己的单词学习,也希望有人来一起背单词。

争取每天至少增加一个单词。这些单词都是我看英文的书籍,杂志或者网站等等碰到的。个人比较不喜欢机械的背单词方式。

每天哪怕只记一个单词,一年就可以增加365个单词词汇量。贵在坚持,加油!

这里有个补充,澳洲人有时候会开玩笑叫英国人whingeing poms,是有点offensive的叫法,英国人对这个比较敏感。听得懂就行了,不要乱说。

不认识就对了.
我也都不认识啊, 所以要背啊.
应该都不是生僻字, 这些单词都取材自我正在读的2本畅销小说, Twilight 和 I am legend. 通俗畅销小说里面的词大概也不是什么生僻字的. 除非是"达芬奇密码"那种小说, 里面都是说宗教或者密码什么的.

刚好背过这个单词以后, 就在电视里看到了"帮宝适"广告, Pampers.
以前没有感觉, 但现在马上就意识到Pampers这个牌子其实就是从pamper这个单词来的.

背单词最开心的就是, 在其他场合能看到/听到自己背过的单词, 并且认出来.
同时, 最痛苦的就是, 在以后看到/听到自己背过的单词, 自己知道背过, 但是忘记什么意思了...

当然, 这些都是背单词的乐趣所在.

Twilight讲的是僵尸故事,I am legend我看过电影,如果没有搞错的话,是一个科幻灾难片。
这样的话,里面的词生僻一点不奇怪。

最近看了很多英语片子,一是因为想看电影,二是学英语,一边看一边理解然后记下不会的句子和单词再查字典,觉得很有用,反正不明白就重复看多几次,反正能定格重放呵呵。
这样一来,我发现了个惊天大秘密,我觉得英语语法和粤语很相似,语序也大部分有相同的。这只是我自己觉得的,有待我自己去研究一下。先别拍砖,可能是真的哦

我以前也有生词本,刚来这个单位上班时候,老有同事说的表达听不懂,或者听懂了,不会用。我就人家说一句,我写小本子上。哈哈
