联系电、水、煤气、电话？还是要settle之后再做呢？
还有什么其他需要搞的呢？

水电煤问题倒不大，他们不会直接切了。提前个两天都够了。倒是电话和网络，先book吧，电话book到settlement当天开通，三天以后（telstra的）网络才能开通。

提前告诉水电煤公司，告诉你什么时候想接通。不过水公司一定要求在按揭那天接
通 (不知为什么)。我认为最好接通，因为如果想洗地毯，打扫卫生再搬，有能
源比较方便。电话可以晚一点。和银行常联系，知道贷款申请情况，还需要什么
证件。在最后两三个星期，特别是最后三四天和过户师联系，知道最后你贷款的
结果，和还需要多少补款，和付款方式。然后确定按揭时间，几个小时后，就
可以取钥匙了！！！

我记得我过户的时候，水是solictor接通的，不用自己接通

哦，对了，还有住进去以后记得向council申请垃圾桶。不过申请垃圾桶和水的过户都要等settlement的时候solicitor通知了council才可以。

这些都是settle以后拿到房子再做的事。
现在要关心的就是settle准时正常，过户手续顺利，钱款数目正确。

偶们昨天settle了，今天才申请接通水电煤。给LZ推荐一个比较各家rates的网站：

可以找个最便宜的。再去目标公司官方网站研究。

其实我觉得是应该先settle再做这些事情的，因为这样可以确保连通各项服务时候房子是你的。

From 1 July 2009 the Bulk water consumption charge will be listed as a separate component on your bill.

Residential water charge components will include:
- Water access charge
- Bulk water consumption charge
- Tiered water consumption charge

All residential properties pay water consumption charges.
The charges appear on your quarterly rates notice in three parts:
- Water access charge of $38.81 per quarter ($155.24 per year)
- Bulk water consumption of $1.22 for each kilolitre (kL), and
- tiered water consumption charges:
   - $1.84 per kilolitre for the first 255 kilolitres per year
   - $1.88 per kilolitre for each kilolitre between 256 kilolitres and 310 kilolitres per year
   - $2.39 for each kilolitre in excess of 310 kilolitres per year

发现了另外一个plan，不知可不可以同时安装两个plan的呢？

Super Economy Plan - Tariff 31
The Super Economy Plan is the cheapest tariff available for water heating. This is because the electricity supply is available only at low electricity-demand periods, such as at night when generators would otherwise be idle.

Electricity supply is made available for a minimum of eight hours per day at times set by the network owner (ENERGEX) at their discretion, generally between the hours of 10pm and 7am. On some days electricity supply may not be turned off at all. This tariff is about 59% cheaper than your normal domestic tariff.

It is designed for storage water heaters and permanently connected heat banks. It can also be used to boost a solar hot water heater.
