标题: GAMSAT Candidates Please Come In
So far, I knew some people in this forum are trying to become a Medical Doctor through Graduate Entry Program.

I am trying to develop a QQ GROUP for people who prepared to sit on 2011 GAMSAT (Graduate Australia Medical School Admission Test).

Then we may prepare the exam and interview together.

Anyone interested please rely here.

I will open the QQ group when we have at lease 5 people.

Motto: ONE DREAM ( To be a Doctor)~

I am a network engineer at the moment. And I have sat GAMSAT 2009, got 60 overall, due to some reason, failed to gain an interview.
I am going to sit GAMSAT 2010.

Anyone here studied biology or chemistry in uni before?
I self-studied bio and chem, found some concepts quite confusing.
And, I think it might be easier for nurses to prepare. Medical terms are killing me.

No, I didn't prepare sufficiently, maybe that was why I got such awkward score.
I work full time, and my work is quite busy sometimes. I spent my spare time to go through some chem and bio text books. I am considering of taking some prep course.
I spent around 3-4 months.

如果你用中国的学历计算GPA，那他们会个案分析，所以很难讲。具体的一些问题，请看下面的链接

Hi All,
说来惭愧, 虽然我早早地张罗GAMSAT,不过直到现在才真正有些精力打算参加这个考试。
具体怎么准备我也是一头雾水，不知道从何开始。我现在手里只有从GAMSAT 官方网站上买到的3本资料。才刚刚看一些，越看越兴奋，哈哈，不是因为题简单，而是因为太难了。但是我想这个考试其实对大家来说都是没有太大压力的---考上了，真是人生的一大幸哉，考不上，也没有损失，奋斗的过程还是挺充实的，人生能有几回搏---所以越有难度，越有意思。大家一起交流，应该也会其乐无穷吧。等我做完完整的一套题后，再向大家汇报

请问长海那三本官方资料感觉如何？主要是因为高中化学生物都忘得差不多了，那三本书能帮忙补课吗？有系统的复习吗？还是只有模拟题？

另外大家的gpa都多少啊？我最近悲剧了。。。才发现 usyd dentistry 的gpa cutoff 是5.5。我才4.4。
however我已经报了3月26好的gamsat 名了。。。。我到不在乎花钱了，就是觉得自己当不了牙医了，我腿都软了。。。。。。。。。。

大家可不可以告知别的出路啊？比如别的学校？

我也是中国的学历，不知道GPA到底要怎么算，大多数学校要求5.0，不知道是根据满分多少算的，如果国内本科成绩大概80左右不知道能不能达到这个分数。但是无论如何，还是决定今年试试，反正工作也不顺心，索性辞职了专心准备。
