标题: 再问一个雅思成绩有效期的问题
我作为主申请人(2009年6月27日二次烤鸭)。 LD附申请人(2008年5月17日通过)。
我们最晚什么时候提出申请来不会让我家LD的成绩作废呢？LD是08年通过的。

非常感谢有经验的TZ分享。

你家LD的雅思成绩已经过期了，副申请需要12个月以内的成绩

除非很有把握，副申请最好等主申请烤熟了之后再去烤鸭

幸好今天问了一下。谢谢版主大人的回复。
不过我家LD（一点也不用担心）着实让我佩服，成绩用来作主申请都可以了。
我却二进宫了。还不知道会怎么样呢。
下个周六刑场上的我只能苦笑三声了

对主申请人：Your test results must be from a test you sat no more than two (2) years before the day of making your application.

However, if you are using an IELTS test to show a secondary applicant’s level of English as ‘functional’, they must have sat the test no more than 12 months before you made your application.

我觉得只要副申请英语水平超出“Functional”就是2年的有效期。仔细看看移民局的规定吧。主申请人都可以是两年，为什么副申请人只是一年呢？当填副申请英语水平的时候，符合什么水平就填什么水平就行了。我的理解是只有”Functional“的是一年有效期，超出的是两年有效期。

不明白‘functional’是什么概念。。。

没关心过副申请的有效期，因为没有

主申请一直都是两年吧

认真学习了一下immi.gov关于English的996i文件 http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/booklets/966i.pdf，以及附申的http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/g ... -english-family.htm，原文摘录：

1、主申：Validity of English test results ：
   If you are applying for a GSM visa, as evidence of your English language ability, you will need to submit the results of an English language test undertaken within 2 years of the date you lodge your application.
   If you are in Australia and applying for a Graduate or Regional Sponsored visa and are unable to sit a test before lodging your application you can submit the booking number and date that you are scheduled to do the test.

2、附申：Evidence to attach to your  application：    To avoid payment of the second instalment visa application charge,you must provide evidence that any secondary applicants 18 years orover included in the application have at least functional English.
your IELTS TRF Number to show you have a band score of at least four and a half (4.5) based on all four components.

Important: If you are using an IELTS test to show functional English, it must be from a test sat no more than 12 months before making your application.

3、functional English：
   An IELTS average band score of at least 4.5 on the 4 test components of the test — speaking, reading, writing and listening.

明确了：主申2年；附申2年（四项都>=5） or 1年（平均4.5）。

我的理解是只要每项都不低于4.5，那就是2年有效期，而未必要4个6吧

没有每项4.5这一档，只有Proficient（4个七）、Competent（4个六）、Vocational（4个5，以后也没了）、functional(平均4.5)

难道不是这个意思吗？而且下面紧跟着important 说了如果是functional的有效期。

这是我VO发给我的文档中说明的。
achievement of an IELTS average band score of at least 4.5 in a test conducted not more than
12 months before lodging their application or at the time of processing the application;

至于base on all four ...你可以理解为在四个部分的基础上获得分数是4.5的band.

另外，在booklet 6上面的第17页说到
Members of your family unit who are
able to demonstrate functional English ability (eg. obtain an overall band score of 4.5 on
the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)) do not have to pay this
charge.

另外966i表上面的
四个六的要求Competent English
An IELTS test score of at least 6 on each of the 4 components of the test — speaking, reading,
writing and listening, OR an equivalent score in a recognised test.

平均分4.5 的functional的要求。

An IELTS average band score of at least 4.5 on the 4 test components of the test — speaking,
reading, writing and listening.

看出有不同了么？

多谢三哥和七龙筒子的详细解释。。。
终于搞清楚了（目前为止这么觉得），就是说DIAC只是按照他们设的7挡来划分，如果不到Vocational，就只能是Functional了，所以如果附申只要考了不是4个都是5分或以上，那么有效期就是1年。。。
请两位指正

突然发觉自己理解能力真是。。。
