We are a church with a house on the property that already has your basic bundle of cable, wifi, and hotspot. The chapel s 30 meters away. We need to hard wire one computer and use wifi in chapel. How do we do this? We inquire with cable company ( spectrum) but said we could use access points for wifi but would not be able hardware a computer from access point..
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

You can just physically set up a desktop or laptop computer in the chapel, install a wireless reception card in the computer(laptop usually has built in wireless reception capability), then access your house wifi signal from the computer/laptop in the chapel so the internet and local area network functions can be started. If your wifi reception in such a setup is weak due to the 30 meter distance, you might boost your wifi signal by purchasing & installing an enhancement antenna for the wifi modem that generic computer shops such MSY etc. normally sell作者: DDD888 时间: 4-9-2017 19:42
Just get a wireless access points which has some extra network socket i.e. this one http://www.mi.com/miwifi3/
miwifi3 is cheap and the network socket is only 100mbps
Run your internet through miwifi3 and connect your pc using cat5/cat5e cable to your miwifi3 and others can access internet through wifi by miwifi3
