A WA truckdriver has paid a high price for speeding through roadworks — on a double demerit weekend — losing his licence and copping a $850 fine.
WA Traffic Police have gone on the front foot, taking to Twitter and making the point about fining the speeding truckie and disqualifying his driver’s licence on a double demerits long weekend.
The shamed truckie is one of the first victims of the WA Day long weekend double demerits, after the driver is understood to have ploughed through a 60km/h roadwork zone, at closer to 100km/h.

这边也有修路的情况: 100的路在修,限速60.已经基本完工了,路面已经很平整,只是还有"碎石"的标志,依然限速60. 但基本上都在照80跑. 我开70后面的车还紧紧咬着,就是逼着人超速,真是无奈. 最后也就是随大流开到80了,这个要有个警车在边上得抓多少人.作者: greatfire 时间: 4-6-2016 23:48
