据《悉尼晨锋报》报道，互联网成为了日常生活不可或缺的一部分，一系列复杂的自创缩略语应运而生。许多缩略语的诞生是为了防止私人对话受到老板、伴侣，尤其是家长们的偷窥。
缩略语的中流砥柱当属BRB（马上回来）和LOL（放声大笑，有时候也代表满满的爱），还有w/e（周末）。
以下是15个最常用的网络缩略语：TTYL、LMAO、ROFL、NSFW、WTF、SMH、BTW、ILY、JK、RBTL、WYWH、FWB、GLHF和IMHO。
它们的用法如下：
TTYL: Talk to you later, usually used to end or delay a conversation
LMAO: Laughing my arse off
ROFL: Rolling on the floor laughing
NSFW: Not safe for work
WTF: What the f---?
SMH: Shaking my head
BTW: By the way
ILY: I love you
JK: Just kidding
RBTL: Read between the lines
WYWH: Wish you were here
FWB: Friends with benefits (friends who also have sex)
GLHF: Good luck have fun
IMHO: In my honest (or humble) opinion
IDK: I don't know
还有15个网络缩略语在青少年群体中广受欢迎，以防止父母窥探他们的恋爱生活和性生活。它们是：GNOC、NIFOC、IPN、WTTP、TDTM、POS、9、CD9、99、LMIRL、IWSN、CU46、GYPO、420和DOC。
它们的用法如下：
GNOC: Get naked on camera
NIFOC: Naked in front of computer
IPN: I'm posting naked
WTTP: Want to trade pictures?
TDTM: Talk dirty to me
POS: Parent over shoulder
9: Parent watching
CD9: Code nine, parents around
99: Parent gone
LMIRL: Let's meet in real life
IWSN: I want sex now
CU46: See you for sex
GYPO: Get your pants off
420: Marijuana
DOC: Drug of choice

呆澳洲大概3年了，但是一半时间在中国，一半时间在澳洲，刚有感觉就回中国了，刚要解决英语瓶颈又回中国了，
于是就游离在要会和不会英语之间。
