CITY OF PERTH SYMPHONY IN THE CITY

Join WASO and WASO Chorus for the traditional free outdoor concert in the heart of the city in 2014!

Symphony in the City has become an essential part of summer in Perth. Over the last seven years, thousands of people have been thrilled by performances of great symphonic music by WASO and the WASO Chorus. We continue the tradition in 2014 with another exciting free outdoor concert at Langley Park.

This spectacular event will feature highlights from the 2015 season, as well as music from great film scores and audience favourites, including Tchaikovsky’s explosive 1812 Overture. Bring a picnic and experience the power of WASO under the stars in our beautiful city.

音响效果不是很好，但是很自由

PRE-CONCERT ENTERTAINMENT & ACTIVITIES
Face painters and balloon artists will provide children's entertainment at the rear of the venue from 5pm - 7pm.
The Ray Walker Trio will perform live on stage from 5.45pm - 6.25pm.

ROAD CLOSURES
Please note that some local road closures will be in place before and after the concert.
6:00pm

Terrace Road will be closed between Hill Street and Victoria Avenue. Local residents with a permit may access Terrace Road via Victoria Avenue. For safety they must use hazard lights and observe 8kmh speed limit.
Victoria Avenue will be closed between Riverside Drive and Terrace Road.
West exit from City of Perth carpark onto Governor’s Avenue will be closed.
East exit to City of Perth carpark onto Victoria Avenue will be closed.
7:15pm

Riverside Drive will be closed (Plain Street to Governor’s Avenue).
9:15pm

Riverside Drive and Terrace Road will be opened.
West exit to City of Perth carpark on Governor’s Avenue will be opened (south flowing traffic to Riverside Drive only).
When Riverside Drive is opened, Terrace Road will be closed between Governor’s Avenue and Victoria Avenue. Carpark traffic from both carparks will be directed east along Terrace Road and up to St George’s Terrace.
ACROD PARKING
ACROD patrons with a permit may access the ACROD parking area from the east end of Terrace Road (through the road closure). For safety they must use hazard lights and observe 8kmh speed limit. ACROD bays are limited and once full, ACROD patrons will be directed to the parking area on Langley Park.
SEATING
For your comfort, please bring a chair or blanket (seating areas will be marked for different chair heights).
FOOD
While many people choose to bring a picnic to Symphony in the City, there will be a number of food and beverage options available at Langley Park for your convenience including Boost Mobeel, The Stuffed Spud, Churro Central, Nacho Shack, Coffee to Go Go, Lady Latte, Smokey Jack’s Pizza, Mr Mocha and Amico Café.
TRANSPORT
After the event Transperth ferries will run until 12.15am and additional train services will run on all lines. For more information visit

都可以，凳子不能是高的

这活动真的很棒,比较建议带午餐垫去
想要好位置大概下午2点多就要去占位了
有点闲情逸致就在带个小酒吧：P

没有关系。也是有一定的规定的。我也记不得大提是什么样的规定啦。
