标题: 【百帖笔记领勋章】指纹的随便日记
Language study by no means is a funny job, especially for people like me, who is always carefree of learning, or writing a diary, or anything requires consistent efforts.

But here comes a chance that I can at least focus on some sort of diary in English, if it can be called a diary, for a certain period of time.

So, thanks @yearshappy for your invitation. Hopefully I can complete this mission, finger cross.

Are you serious? I never feel language study is funny. Study is always boring and unattractive at all. Actually just talk to someone who speaks English is the best way to improve your language. Another chance is learning from your kids as they're speaking pure Aussie assent and slang in the school but we occasionally touched. That's what I'm thinking so far...

标题: DAY 1 - R U OK?
I learned from my daughter's daycare teacher that tomorrow is R U OK day, which I have no clue what it's about until I did some research today.

It turned out that R U OK is a well known Australia NPO, (yeah, nonprofit organization, about which we had been discussing for ages,) who is aiming at encouraging people's daily conversation to release each other's pressure and anxiety.

For those who are interested in who R U OK is, and what they are doing, here are some details:

Online social networking has changed, and keeps changing our life significantly. How many times when you and your family members are facing a computer for a whole night without even noticing you haven't said a single word to each other for hours? If you had never do so, well, congratulations. But I have to admit that I did.

We've missed communications to real human beings for a long time, while these communications are some of the most fabulous and priceless parts in our lives. That's why we encourage our FreeOZers to meet up in the real life, not only on the forums. That's why @欢语 and @yping88 had put so much effort organizing the party in October, well, it hadn't turned out a good result, but that's not the point. And that's why I, personally, prefer meeting my FreeOZ friends face to face, instead of feeding watery posts.

Again, we are the ones who make it a better day, so let's start giving.

So R U OK, mate?

Can't agree more. And that's what I said, language study by no means is a funny job.

我英文很差的，Kevin的小说我是先让他告诉我什么意思，再用字典翻译的。

标题: Day 2: 背、背、背
在学习英语的过程中，坦率的讲我一直都很懒，懒得背单词，懒得查字典，所以词汇量一直以来都是我的硬伤

但是过去不多的几次我能够感到自己英语能力有所提高的时候，都和背东西有关

中学的时候我们的英语老师特立独行，给我们学的是《新概念》，当时是强制我们背了第一册的所有课文，并且每一课的场景都要每位同学组成小组表演再现，很多场景至今仍然历历在目，这一段的学习奠定了我和同学们的英语语感基础。

上了高中，开始学习统编教材，导致我对英语的兴趣一落千丈，课文也背不动，基本上听说读写每况愈下

后来烤鸭，励精图治，找本书背了很多精选段落，大部分是从BBC的新闻摘要里面节选出来的，用词和句式都非常地道，书名忘了，但是这一段对我的雅思写作起到了非常大的促进。

另外就是手边准备了几十个小时的口语对话磁带，是，当时还是用磁带机的时代，还有什么所谓学习机，基本上每天都在背诵和模仿磁带里面的对话，都魔障了

回想起来，只有这两段经历我是认认真真的学习英语，而且清楚的感受到了自己的进步，都是背出来的

现在年版给了这个机会，看来又要开始背一些东西了

说了一堆无聊的话题，拿一个我以前背过的段子解解闷儿，这一段大家一定都很熟悉，自己看：

词汇量大小和合适场合使用，都是我的问题；还有还有好多其他问题，不过谁让我自己从前没有机会学呀，所以现在就好好补课。只想自己的目标，事情会容易很多

我会特意记，但要重复很多遍，以前曾经使用7天，21天哪种记忆法；现在是多读多看多听法
你现在应该不会到我的地步，应该特别快

OK, it has been a while since my last update of this diary. Here comes a good study material to help you improve your daily conversation.

It contains 49 short scenario from everyday life. Well, I don't like the accent a lot but the dialogues are interesting enough to keep you going.

As I said, the best way to learn English, well, at least for me, is to memorize and burn the videos in your mind.

Now, let's begin. The link below is a youtube list of all 49 sections.

With my learning going forward, I'm going to break them down into each section and post accordingly.
