I think there's only two things that can help you with IELTS. One is to prepare before taking it. The other is to relax when you are taking it.
The time required for the preparation differs person to person.
For reading, I would suggest reading a lot of articles on news websites such as the BBC, avoid Indian news websites because I found their articles sporadically contain grammar or lexical errors.
For listening, there would be a lot of videos on Youtube which you may find help. Watching English movies or TV programs would also help. And when you are taking the test, read the questions before the recording is played, so you can know what the keywords are to be paid attention to. If you miss a question, ignore it and move on to the next immediately to avoid missing more. http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...20hearing&sm=3
For writing, I suggest you to take a look at the examples on this website. http://ielts-simon.com/ielts-help-an...neral-writing/
And you should practice write with a pencil for as many times until you feel comfortable with it. Make sure you meet the word count requirements and clearly answer the questions with relevant information or arguments.
Avoid using the same words for too many times, instead use more synonyms. Also definitely make sure you don't misspell any words.
For speaking, relax. If you get too nervous, you certainly won't perform too well. I think since you are in India, you would have a lot of opportunity to practice speaking with many people. Try to avoid mistakes which are common in daily conversation in India, such as I 'can able to'. Learning from English movies and TV programs can be helpful too.
No one can ever get ready for the test 100%. Just spend some time every day either reading some articles, watching some English videos, writing some letters or compositions, and speaking more English.
All the best with your IELTS and further processes.

Lol. I don't really speak English as well as a native speaker. That's why they can get 9.0 in speaking and I got only 8.5.作者: 幸运星常在 时间: 15-3-2014 14:11
