没全读原文，单从这个句子理解
烤肉温度计去测试烤箱任何肉，这个插在肉中的形状，就类似作者描述的情形
用人们常见到的情形来形容，易使一般读者理解
但不明白 last week
也许作者上周刚烤火鸡了庆圣诞？
