昨天傍晚去woolworth买东西，刷卡等待的过程中收银员小姐突然冒出一句，What did you guys do tody? 把我搞懵了，不知道怎么回答了，糊里糊涂的答了一句just working. 对方笑笑，我接过小票走人。

请教朋友们，这句话有什么意思吗？还是一般问候语？该怎么回答？
