As storms sweep across Sydney, a golfer has reportedly died after his playing group was struck by lightning at a NSW golf course.
The men were playing at Hawks Nest Golf course just before 1pm today when it is believed they were struck by lightning while standing around a tee.

A Hunter Westpac rescue helicopter spokesman said one man had died while being treated by paramedics.
A 55-year-old man was being flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital with serious burns, while the third man was being transported by ambulance.
