技术移民申请可以因为是独生子女带上父母吗

今天跟一个斯里兰卡朋友聊天，他说10多年前当时他申请技术移民，因为他是独生子女，所以他的申请带上了父母，然后父母也获批了175签证。
我就回想我当时申请的时候，应该也是查过的，只能带配偶和子女。想知道这个政策到底有多少人知道，多少人用上了？这可是省了之后申请父母签证的一大笔费用啊。

我能找到的一些资料,里面提到了可以带dependent parent。
Including Family Members
You can include the following types of family members in your application:

Spouses, defacto partners and same-sex partners
Dependent children
Other dependent family members – eg parents who live with you and are financially dependent
It is possible to include partners and dependent children after lodgement of the application, but other dependent family members must be included at lodgement.

那么我就奇怪了，以国人的聪明，怎么都没有怎么听说把父母在技术移民的时候一起办过来？

这同时会增加你被拒签的风险吧？
虽然签证官拒签时不会说这个原因，但背地里肯定权衡过，然后找个别的理由把你拒签。

除非能证明有经济依赖，否则父母100%被拒签。然后由于签证的性质，貌似一人被拒，全部被拒。。。

不过175是过去式了吧，前两年貌似直觉全部取消审理并退费了。。。
