Overview:
The Finance and Contract Administration Section performs a vital role for Systems for People program and Business Transformation Services Division in the provision of financial management and organisation management functions. You will be required to provide a high level of contribution to team activities, in particular, to the budget and reporting team.
Specific Duties:
As a finance officer, you will be required to:
• Prepare monthly branch reimbursement reports and other ad-hoc reports on request;
• Provide support and assist the deputy finance officer of the Systems for People Program Management Branch in the preparation and coordination of divisional reporting;
• Assist the division in managing projects financial deliverables including monitoring and reporting on expenditures;
• Liaise and negotiate with staff of the IT divisions, other departmental staff, clients and external agencies/organisations on financial matters relating to the work area; and
• Prepare journal entries on project reimbursement and chargeback using the easySAP Time Recording System. As a finance officer you will need to have the following skill sets:
• Sound experience and knowledge in financial management;
• Ability to work under pressure to achieve results;

• Ability to work in a small team;
• Experience in liaising with internal stakeholders and the ability to develop working relationships with different stakeholders; and
