But I heard someone said that SP is not worth enough for tax reture (fringe Tax Benefit or something) and therefore better not apply for that.<br>

Our salary package is done like that, every month before I get my salary, I provide the expense of last month to a company which handle our salary package, then the company will take the money I provided from my employer and transfer to my bank account.
