Former rugby star, gay icon and anti-bullying advocate Ben Cohen continues to delight his male fans with a provocative new photo shoot for a calendar benefitting his foundation.
Cohen strips, works out and tantalises the camera during the calendar photo shoot for his StandUp Foundation, an effort started by Cohen to combat LGBTI bullying.
The long time ally of the LGBTI community felt that he needed to throw his support behind anti-bullying efforts after retiring because it was an issue he felt passionately about.
Cohen told the UK’s Gay Times in July that after retiring he felt he was “in a privileged position”.
“I had a great following in the gay community so I started breaking down those stereotypes when I was still playing rugby,” he said.
“And it got to a point where I decided I wanted to do something more, which is when we set up the foundation. But I didn’t realise how powerful retiring for a cause would be.”
Cohen has also recently worked with co-founder of The It Gets Better Project, author Dan Savage and the Broadway musical Wicked to further spread the word about the effects of bullying.
