是呀，地方是不错，距离也不远，可惜太贵了，比那些远的地方还贵很多。

那地方我们当年去过， freeoz最早组织的活动， 记得那次认识江苏小伙和熏肉大饼， 不过我们是开车去的， 还迷了路， 傍晚赶回coffs harbour， 大家吃饭的时候， forever的夫人点的 龙虾。。。印象深刻

那地方风景优美， 以多瀑布著称
看看今年是否有时间。。。

We are going to Coffs Harbour for June 9-11 2012, Queens Birthday long weekend in NSW,

and walk at
Muttonbird Island
17th of 18 day track (above) and
other a few short tracks at several national park next Coffs Harbour

in addition to see waterfalls   

We will stay in holiday park/appartment or caravan park at Coff Harbour for every night.

12 of us walked this track on June 10 2012.

Rosewood Creek Circuit plus part of  Blackbutt Track is about 11 KM with over +600/-600 meters. We walked for 5.5 hours.

1. Grand Canyon
    Blue Mountains, New South Wales

13.5 km; 5 hrs; moderate

Deep chasms and towering waterfalls reward walkers who make the effort to explore the Blue Mountains National Park.  ...

I will walk the track including part of 1st of 18 on July 21 2012,

Govetts Leap - Pulpit Rock - Perrys Lookdown - Blue Gum Forest - Lockleys Pylon – Blue Gum Forest –Junction Rock - Govetts Leap

Spectacular views of the Govetts Gorge and Grose, as well as a quick trip thru the Blue Gum Forest. This will be a reasonably fast paced walk so please make sure that your fitness is up to it. (If you don’t know what a 600m ascent is, then this isn’t the walk for you!)

It is about 22 KM with Ascents and descents of both over 1,500 meters.

Please contact me for more details if you think you are fit enough and you are keen to join.

It was not surprising that Why Australian Geographic list  

"Grand Canyon Blue Mountains, New South Wales"

as the top 1 of 18 day walk in Australia.

On July 19 2013, middle winter, ten of us walked in such great place where only 1.5 hours away from Sydney.

It was amazing to see a lot of waterfalls in addition to valley, canyon and mountains and so on.
