Hi, I think it is a good time to consult you with some questions
Recently, we just found out that nearly five years of application for australia permenent residency seems impossible due to my mother was dianosed with colon cancer after we came to australia 2 years after
Now the Medical Officer of the Commonwealth refused our application by one reason that is "result in a significant cost to the Australian community in the areas of health care and community services” but within 28days we still could provide some comment and summit relevant information
We have been feeling very unwell and very depress about this decision, because we have been left my dad alone fighting to support us in Taiwan, and my mom has to experience a sudden culture change to stay in Australia and be able to apply for permanent residency.
Actually, we have a very good medical insurance and doctor to take care of my mom’s illness, it’s better for my mom to stay in Taiwan which really cost much less than in Australia even she has medicare after PR in Australia plus she desires going back to Taiwan to stay with my dad after we have received PR.
So there is really impossible chance that my mom would utilize medicare in Australia, and if so, she does state very clearly, she would make a promise and sign any credible documentation just to make sure she won’t use medicare in her whole life in Australia.
Now we only hope we could convince MOC or Australian government that three of my siblings and me would like to stay in Australia since we have stayed here nearly five years and we have fully settled and plan to stay in Australia in our long future. This is proof by what we choose to our career, my older sister has a childcare degree, my younger sister has a nurse degree and I have a nutrition and dietetics degree.
From now we only can seek support from every possible way and ask around though it is hard for us |
