City Design is a business within the Brisbane Infrastructure Division. City Design have upwards of 250 professional staff providing services in the planning, feasibility, design and delivery of civic infrastructure, community facilities and environmental assets.
City Design’s Knowledge Centre is a “one stop shop” for library and information needs, such as:
library collections and catalogues
lending and acquisition services and
research and training.
As the Information and Knowledge Officer, you will be responsible for the general management of our Knowledge Centre. You will add value in providing expert support and advice to City Design employees in areas such as developing reference collections and conducting research projects. You will also be responsible for the provision of specialist information services and training staff in the use of reference and information tools.
In support of our award winning design business you will work independently as well as part of a team contributing your skills with:
experience in managing information resources
an understanding of Knowledge Management principles
experience in conducting research projects.
