我认识一个CCIE找不到专业工作先跟着黑民给人盖房子，后来听说改行去装空调了。

nortel passport 7k 8600 is very popular in Aussie . I am pretty sure LZ can find the job here . but salary depends on  job title and your negociation skill . CCIE works at config/database level and seldom touch at hardcode , so don't expect too much .

不知往哪个方向展开， 技术？ 市场？
in wireless domain , 7k /15k is widely used as switch/router to inter-connect with basestation ,dom or other n/k elements  in some of operator's mobile network .
if you are from ETAC , you are absolutely expert and being acceped  by any company in Aussie ./

CCIE，特别是RS的，现在已经白菜价了，即使是在澳洲。不排除少数真正有本事的拿高薪，也不排除更少数运气好的拿高薪，但普遍来讲已经没啥大区别了，有经验真正能干活才是真的。特别是在现在经济不景气的环境下。
还是那句话“锦上添花而不是雪中送炭”。

澳洲除了自然环境相对好一些。
相对而言来还是国内薪水拿得比较爽，花得也比较自在。
到这边毕竟是初来乍到，人生地不熟，白手起家，要经历一番折腾。
