签证过期后才离境会有什么后果吗？

单就澳洲的签证，不考虑其它地方。
过期后才离境，会不会有罚款甚至拘留？
或者以后再也不给你签证了？

在澳洲逾期滞留，今后肯定是有记录了，再审请澳洲签证会很难。一旦被发现，会首先限制行动自由，然后被遣送出境。但如果未被发现，自己离境则不会被拘留，但下次也申请不到澳洲签证了。

逾期居留属于违反签证条例，会被记录在案。会影响以后申请签证。但不是刑事犯罪记录，通常超过5年后就没有关系了。

。。。。以前说过几次是3年。。不知道5年是哪里来的。

You become an 'unlawful non-citizen' and this can cause problems for you, such as:

you risk being detained and removed Australia
you might have to pay the Australian Government for the cost of removing you from Australia
you could be banned from returning to Australia for up to three years – this is called a re-entry ban.

以前听说 在一定时间之内主动离境，有个人原因（生病，忘记了，其他意外情况），有可能免于处罚。

有个疑问，论坛里不是经常有人说在五年期的最后才入境，然后住满两年不离境，再申请RRV吗？

永居签证永远不会过期，过期的是回境签证。和LZ问的不是同一回事。

没认真看过，才第一次注意到这些……那最后一条的意思是过期了我申请个旅游签证也能过来继续用PR visa住着不走吗？不违法的话PR visa会被取消吗？

PR是永久居民，如果你不违法被判刑1年以上或者其他严重的事情，是不会取消你的PR身份的。

但是-------------你需要一个VISA进入澳大利亚。。 这就是PR上面的RRV
初始PR上面带有5年的VISA你可以随意进出，但是5年过期了之后你要申请新的RRV要不然 出去就回不来了。

5年住够2年可以申请新的5年的RRV，不够的话申请1年，3个月，1个月的，等住够两年在申请5年的
如果不离境，PR可以一直住下去，没有限制。

另外关于PR的激活，  如果到期内（通常小于1年，根据无刑和体检日期而定） 没有登录激活，那么PR会失效。。。。 这个跟RRV 不是一回事。。这个真的会让PR作废的。   不知道有不可抗力可不可以申诉。
