Primary job responsibilities
Collaborate with others in the support organization to analyze, debug, and resolve customer reported problems
Work closely with Red Hat's development engineering team and support organisation
Analyze upstream development as it applies to current customer-reported issues
Develop kernel and user space patches to resolve customer-reported issues
Work within a highly technical collaboration-driven global team
Be able to contribute to future development in the technical subject areas through collaboration with the upstream maintainers
Required skills
5-10 years experience working in kernel networking - Linux strongly preferred
Experience with open source community bug or patch validation and discussion
Deep knowledge of the Linux kernel networking stack
Strong knowledge of Linux network drivers
Thorough understanding of user space network programming
C expertise
Strong customer support background preferred
