We have just been to the central law court to dispute our bond with the owner and agent. We have successfully negotiated a maximum bond return and the magistrate have been on our side all through the proceeding.

Don't be afraid to go to the court. As a tenant we have our rights.

what's your agent name?

told by a friend that, with some agents, you will lose all your $1800 bond...that's scary

The agent is from century 21, owner end up with only 10% of the bond and we have got the rest back. As a tenant, we just need to know how to claim it during the court hearing.
