LETTER OF OFFER
It is with pleasure that I confirm our offer of employment with , for
the position of 1 November 2012 subject to a 457 Visa
approval. The position of X is defined in our People Performance and
Growth Framework as a Group 6 – Corporate and Professional.
The terms and conditions of
your role were discussed at interview and are as set out below. Relocation costs to
Australia are the responsibility of you and will not be subsidised. This permanent offer
will be pending the successful completion of a medical and police check. You have
confirmed to us that you have no prior convictions nor any prior injuries or health issues that
may inhibit you from performing the inherent duties. If the results of either the medical or
police check are unsatisfactory for the duties or the company then the offer will be retracted.
You will also be subject to a 6 months probation period where you will be reviewed on a
regular basis.
In the event the 457 Visa is not approved by Australian Immigration then the offer of
employment will be retracted.
You may also be required to transfer to another company.Continuity of service and entitlements will apply in both instances.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities are as outlined on your job description and during our discussion, and
will be set with your yearly objectives.
REMUNERATION
Your base salary will be gross per annum, paid monthly, by bank remittance.
Your salary is exclusive of superannuation. Review of salaries is generally undertaken
each year and your next review may be in October. Your salary
is compensation for all hours worked.
ANNUAL LEAVE
Annual leave is accrued at the rate of four weeks per year of service in addition to
recognised public holidays, which occur during the period of annual leave. Leave
accumulated in one year must be cleared during the following year and should not be carried
over into subsequent years. Deferral of leave requires senior management approval. Annual
Leave Loading has been included as part of your base salary.
PERSONAL LEAVE
You will be entitled to be paid personal leave in the event of personal illness as per the
legislation. However, absence in excess of one day must be supported by an acceptable
medical certificate and any extended sick leave will need management approval.
SUPERANNUATION FUND
The Company will make superannuation contributions as required by the Superannuation
Guarantee Legislation. You will be provided with a standard Choice Form which will specify
the default fund
TERMINATION
Your employment may be terminated by yourself or the Company by giving one month’s
notice in writing, or by the Company without notice on the payment of one month’s salary in
lieu of notice. Immediate dismissal will apply in cases of misconduct or a fundamental
breach of your terms and conditions of employment, in these cases you will not be entitled to
a notice payment. During your probation period your notice period will be one week, in
effect, the company may opt to pay this in lieu of notice. |
