I have a different laptop as yours/you.
这句话对不对.

关于different as 一直乱用
我有时候用different from
I have a different laptop from you.

有时候用as different as
my laptop is as different as you
my laptop is different from you.
总之就是一团乱. 反正能交流. 但本着认证求学的态度. 还是要请教一下这里的高手

同时引申出来as same as 的用法 高手可以顺便一起指教.

Thank you for rasing this interesting comparison.

To my knowledge, you can use "different from" or "different than" to talk about two things that are not the same.
However, most people prefer "different from". e.g. I have a laptop which is different from yours.

The example of "different as":As different as chalk from cheese
I cann't think of another example. Could you show me where you found this expression? It is always good to clarify any confusion in the original context.

Decent,
I was confronted the problem mentioned above when I am writing my email to document some tech issue.  Those words be used to compare such as 'different' and 'same'  highly frequently appeared .  I would like to have those clear  to produce a decent doco.
thanks a lot.

Maybe you can put in this way---
My laptop is different from yours.
I have a laptop which is different from yours.

Probably, you may say--
My laptop is the same as yours.
