有谁知道PR可不可以申请Austudy啊?

小女子想去悉尼读书,苦于囊中羞涩,故想借助澳洲政府centrelink的一些补助来维系生活和学习费用.

哪位大侠可以给我指点迷津?

好像不成。不过PR可以申请只能Local申请的奖学金。

没有看到其他条件了...不信你可以去官网看一下...而且也不知道和他们怎么联系,需要CRN NUMBER...所以求助啊...

You can usually only get a social security payment from Centrelink if you live in Australia and are either an Australian citizen or you have a permanent resident visa. If you are a newly arrived resident you will also have a two year newly arrived resident’s waiting period for:

Austudy
Carer Payment (adult)

Mobility Allowance

Partner Allowance
Sickness Allowance

You qualify for Austudy if you are:

over 25 years
doing an approved full-time course at an approved institution or undertaking a full-time Australian Apprenticeship, and

meet residence requirements.

What Residence Requirements does Austudy have?
To lodge a claim and qualify for Austudy, you must be:

pr要2年才能拿austudy，对于绝大部分的master by course 的课程，是没有的，所以，不要想了，我也很痛苦，没钱混阿。。。。。。。。。。。。
对于pr，如果你是单身或者结婚没孩子的话，头两年基本是没福利的，除了medicare
所以。。。。。。师傅我也帮你不了你了。。。。。。。。。。。

有一种PR可以申请贷款读书，就是以难民身份去的PR的人，不过FreeOZ好像还没看到过难民PR。

medicare是虾米东东,是不是和中国的医保差不多?那如果newly arrived PR去看医生,属于medicare范围内的,不收费嘛?

这里的基本医疗服务都可以用medicare cover，新移民看医生唯一要注意的就是可能medicare还没办好（一般登陆之后2周才办妥），你可以登录之后马上去medicare登记，会有一个number，就是将来medicare的number，凭这个也可以看病，具体问medicare office里面的人。

用medicare卡看病，有些是不花钱，有些是付款之后可以claim回一部分。
一般去jp那里的就免费，去买药自费

对了,有的学校的某些专业,提供csp位置(不过一般很少),具体你要去学校的网页查了,如果你的专业有csp位置的话,你可以申请试试看,申请下来,学费就能便宜一半左右 ,申请不下来,也没啥损失
例如,rmit的IT专业,就提供,csp位置,但是会计就没有

很不幸，是这样的，几年前是有的，但是据说有些外国人，移民到澳洲，就贷款读书，拿到高学位以后，就回国再也不来了。

CSP一般只支持本科的，硕士只有很少的一些专业类似教育等可以享受csp.所以新移民还是专心找工作吧，或者像留学生一样付钱读书，当然学费便宜一些。
