We are looking for an experienced production coordinator to join a leading Sportswear manufacturer in the Port Melbourne area
In this roll you will be an integral part of the Production team and have accountability for tracking production and delivery of garments from China and local.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow up with suppliers for delivery time of orders.
• Liaise with the Designer to ensure all details are correct.
• Deal with problems promptly and resolve them as a matter of urgency
• Develop good personal relationships of mutual respect and trust with the factory in China
This is a practical hands on role with a minimum 1 year experienced textile or clothing industry to join a dedicated team, you will need a comprehensive fabric, quality and garment construction knowledge. Have dealt with and visited manufactures in China, be available to travel to China if required, a written and spoken knowledge of Mandarin is needed.
Salary $45,000+ super.
Competency in Excel is essential.
Have knowledge on designing softwares such as CorelDraw, Illustrator would be preferred.
Quick learning
Immediate start would be preferred.
