Positive: yes he deserves redounding for his good deed; and he does have spent time,energy and efforts looking for the owner
Negative: no he should not ask for redounding as what he finds does not belongs to him anyway. if everything's value is measured by money, it is no doubt that the spirit of the society would get lost
what's your opinion? which side do you support?

Sounds like a writing topic in ielts. I'd like to say its a good habit to give reasonable tips when u receive a service. Its also quite normal to give some money to one who has done u a big favour, just to show how ur grateful for that.
