It's no secret that e-business is the latest, greatest wave in commerce,Not since loaves of bread came presliced has commerce taken such a fantastic turn-for both the buyer and the seller. It is a convergence of the world's oldest prefession (selling stuff) with the technology of the millenium (computers). The growth of e-businesses has been exponential and the success stories have been the stuff of legend.

倒装句,表强调,也为了便于和后面的for both buyer and seller连接。
Commerce has not taken such a fantastic turn since loaves of bread came presliced - for both the buyer and the seller.
You can't keep all of grammer about inversion in mind, nor can I,nor can anybody. No sooner caught I sight of inversion sentence than I was in trouble.
