弗格森(右二)与安德森(右)成为犹他州第一对合法同性配偶

　　美国犹他州12月20日推翻同性婚姻禁令，成为美国第17个同性婚姻合法化的州。

　　台湾”中央社“报道，据美联社消息，犹他州联邦地方法院的法官谢尔比(Robert J. Shelby)昨天裁决，该州2004年公投通过的禁止同性婚姻的州法律，违反美国宪法第14条修正案提供的平等保障。

　　谢尔比在53页的判决书上写道，犹他州现行法律否定了同性恋公民结婚的基本权利，贬低了同性伴侣的尊严，法院认定这些法律违宪。

　　犹他州前一天已通过婚姻平等法案，法官的裁决使该法案立即生效。至此美国已有17个州和1个特区实现同性婚姻合法化。

　　法官宣布裁决后，同志团体纷纷表示欢迎。犹他州首府盐湖城政府已经为数十对同性伴侣发放结婚证书。

　　尽管犹他州风气保守，当地的摩门教反对同性婚姻，但当盐湖城市长贝克(Ralph Becker)在距离摩门教会总部约3英里的办公大楼里为位同性伴侣证婚时，现场民众爆发一片欢呼声。

　　苹果日报今天报道，安德森与弗格森(Seth Anderson & Michael Ferguson)成为犹他州第一对合法的同性配偶，他们说：“我们为犹他州法律感到骄傲，非常快乐！”安德森的继父特里(Jeff Turley)表示，5年前他们还不敢想象婚姻平等，如今终于美梦成真。

　　不过也有犹他州官员声称要上诉，试图阻止同性婚姻合法化。

风气保守的犹他州都接受了，澳洲应该也快了。美国允许同性婚姻的州都快接近廿个了，进步好快！

根据wiki，截止到2013年12月22日，全美共有18个州（包含DC）承认同性婚姻，占全美人口39.2%。另外还有4个州承认同性伴侣，和之前加起来一共占全美人口的44.8%。已经接近半壁江山！
