公然贴出价钱。估计这位Stewart同学的电话应该要被打爆了吧。
Software Engineer – Functional Programmer (Scala/Haskell/OCaml)

Location: Sydney based

Permanent positions ($170K+ + package) or Long-term contract

My client has a need for 2 software engineers experienced in developing massively scalable systems (ideally using Scala) and delivering valuable business focused solutions. This is a great chance to work for a rapidly expanding end client with large budgets, offering a great salary package and chance to developer your career in the Big Data Analytics space.

This cutting edge project requires developers to build the environment for the data scientists on top of a Big Data platform using Scala and other functional languages to then be able to make use of the data, and make business decisions off the back of that information and the patterns that are evident. The developers are working with the Data Scientists to define the approaches for supporting specific Analytics requirements while doing all the coding in a highly scale-able way.

The programming is done in Scala but the language isn’t too important – most of the developers pick up new languages all of the time.  How deep and quickly someone can code and come to a solution is what we are looking for – so this is a chance for a programmer with a strong functional background in any language to make the jump!

You will get valuable experience with technology such used is Map Reduce, Cassandra, Scoobi, Hive, Hadoop - any exposure to these skills is obviously good but we are not expecting any as it's still relatively new to Australia commercially…
Do you have experience in preparing an algorithmic problem and coding a solution? Data transformation, transversal algorithms, developing high and low level languages in a functional language? If so, then this is the challenge for you!

中介的广告，只能呵呵了。电话打过去，100%已经fill了。只有中介主动打电话过来的，那种职位可能是真的存在的。

这个工种的话,价格是靠谱的.
但有一点,这个ad是很表面的.后面应该有些比较高的requirement.

我也觉得是真的。
要求不简单，招聘的公司应该对市场很了解。在悉尼能应聘得上的，应该有大半在google，atlassian，还有其它几家IT公司。估计人家现在待遇已经都不差了。
如果我不是现在前途未卜，加上感觉在现在的公司还没学够，我也想去试试，碰碰运气。
昨天看了这个之后，就开始考虑要不要申请内部调动去那几个用scala比较多的组，攒点经验。

悉尼的big data的工作好像很不少哦。经常有看到的。

我来这里四年多了，接触过几个agent，统统都是bullshit，比如神奇的Edwardman，我打电话过去，他永远是that job is not available,blabla。偶尔几次，他给我打电话，那么那个工作可能是确实存在的。
一般大公司的工作，雇主都会自己发广告，不会仅仅给猎头的。有兴趣的可以翻翻linkedin，可以看到google，broadcom之类大公司的招聘广告。

就是scala爱好者每个月的聚会。悉尼的一般都是在atlassian开。这个月的上个星期刚开过。

同学,不要因为其他中介平常不甩你就说人家这个是假的吧.

170k的就怀疑人家没事干,发疯找人聊,那些200k或200k+的不都成了诈骗集团了?

同学，我从来没有说过 “因为170K，所以是假的”
我质疑它，因为是中介发的，其次你自己也说了“这个ad是很表面的.后面应该有些比较高的requirement.”
这个JD非常的模糊，不像是正规公司的广告
