excuse me请问 curriculum day 什么意思.from my son's school 不知道也，6，7月的时候看到我侄女学校的门口也有这个。家长一定要参加吗？ It tells you what's gonna happen in the following year, what is you kid going to learn.

“Curriculum Day”
It was a pleasure watching Sean this morning during kindergarten “Curriculum day”. Now, all my doubts about whether he should be in kindergarten were pushed aside as I watched him interact in the classroom & learn. He sang the numbers song. He listened to the teacher & recited the words. He got up in front of the class & put the right word in the right slot. But also, when he didn’t know the answer, he didn’t raise his hand. That’s when the teacher called on him. “Sean, do you know…? To which Sean responded after a bit of thought, “I didn’t raise my hand.” I had to keep myself from laughing out loud.Good answer, I thought.
Working with him through the morning’s assignment did not take long. He knew where to place all his words- had to group words that end in “ad” and “ap”. He had to tell me I wasn’t doing it right. It was a “blind sort” & I was supposed to cover the words as I read them so he wouldn’t see the spelling & cheat.Then we switched turns & he was reading the words to me so that I could sort them.
After the assignment was done, Sean picked up some books so that I could read to him as we waited for everyone else in the class to finish. I hugged him many times.Then the time was done & we parents were dismissed. Wished I could have stayed longer. Just got a brief glimpse in that one hour. It was just Sean & me and no other sibling…just like in the beginning. And I couldn’t help but be so proud.
