惭愧,英语学了这么多年.竟然这么常用的一个表达式到现在还不确定怎么说才对:L .大家发表一下意见吧.类似的概念如何表述?

'我少给了你一件东西'(意思是我应该给你3件,但因为疏忽或者其它原因只给了2件),正确的英文表述是?(可数和不可数名词分别怎样说)
'我多给了你一件东西'(意思是超过了你应得的),(可数和不可数名词分别怎样说)
