我儿子的英语作文2篇, 祝贺他小学毕业!
我儿子在来澳洲前, 是小学三年级没读完, 只会一点简单的语法. 老婆和我都是英语专业, 但都是懒得教他. 07年来到澳洲, 先是在语言班学了一年, 然后转入正常班学习, 到现在2年7个月, 这周五将是他在小学最后一天(7年级). 这两年多, 我们根本就不过问他的任何学习, 前几天他领同学(aussie)来家里玩儿, 结果他们之间的谈话我是一句没听懂呀. 郁闷. .....下面是他在学校写的两篇作文, 不管写得如何, 只是想对那些担心孩子学习的朋友说, 不要担心小孩子的英语, 孩子比大人适应的快.:) :good第一篇:
They came from underneath your bed!
“JOHN!!!!!!!” MUM cried with her dry throat:” Go and clean up your
bedroom, it’s very messy - just like after the world war.”
“Fine, fine, I’ll clean it now.” John said and went out the door.
After while he came back with a large broom and walked slowly into his
room. “Oh G what a mess, how can I clean up such a huge mess, I’m not
going to do that” John said and dropped the broom, jump onto his bed and
lay down. “Whoooosh!” The wind blew very heavily and John’s heart pounded
very hard, because he afraid to the whoooosh sounds, especially in the
night.
He was afraid of many things that he had never seen before, like some
kinds of insects and spiders. He had a very good imagination and was
always thinking there was some sort of monster living deep in the huge
trash bin. He was afraid of the night and he couldn’t even go to the
toilet without some one next to him. The scariest thing was that he
believed that there were some strange things under his bed!
John is a strong boy, but he acts like a young girl who is afraid of
everything.
That makes his mum very worried - because he is a boy, he not suppose to
be afraid of anything. So his mum took John to the hospital.
The doctor said he is very healthy and nothing wrong with him, but that
makes his mum more confused.
However, there are some things happening after everyone is asleep. The
rest of the family have nice sweet dreams, but John’s horrible nightmare
has just begun!
“NO, NO, don’t kill me ……. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” JOHN cried out loudly.
“Oh boy, calm down, you just had a nightmare. Listen, I’m going out for
the rest of the day, I will be back at night and ….ah... looks after
Alisha, and the breakfast is on the table.” Mum told him.
Alisha is his naughty little sister who likes to do horrible things, like
put some bugs or insects in people’s pencil cases. That’s why John doesn’t
like her at all.
Later, John was sitting on his chair and thinking about what they were
going to have for lunch, when a dark shadow loomed up behind him, tapped
him on the shoulder and said:” Hey...”
After 5 seconds John cried so loudly, “Ahhhhhhh!”
“John, what’s wrong with you?” a voice asked. John looked back; it was his
little sister Alisha.
” Alisha you scared me to death!” “I just want to ask what we are going to
eat for our lunch.” Alisha said. “Uh…… I don’t know yet but we might have
delicious air for our lunch.” John kidded. “What do you mean?” Alisha
asked. “I mean…. We can eat nothing!” he said.
John went to his room for a sweet afternoon sleep and Alisha was playing
at the back yard with her dog Bobby. After 10 minute or more John felt his
face - so itchy, and he scratched and scratched until he woke up and saw
the mirror and cried again……
“The creeps are coming from underneath my bed! I can’t believe it, it’s
true! “John cried and look under his bed. He saw an evil red eye under the
bed, looking at him in the dark.
Of course, John screamed loudly again.
“What’s wrong with you John?” Alisha cried angrily.
“There….. There…… “John shocked his legs very hard.”
“What?”
“I saw a red eye under my bed.” John’s legs shocked even harder.”
“You must be kidding me brother.” She laughed at him. “Go, and look down
the bed and you’ll believe me. Alisha looked down the bed and she saw
nothing except for John’s smelly shoes. “See anything?” He asked. “Yeah!”
Alisha pulled the shoes out:” Is that what you mean a “monster?” John’s
leg stopped shaking and said:” What?” And then he looked under his bed,
but he saw nothing. He said to him self: I … I don’t understand, what
happened to me? He shook his head: I must got a day dream. A loud voice
interrupted his thought:” John!!” Alisha cried:” I don’t have time to mass
with your dumb joke, I’m going to feed Bobby now, its must be hungry.”
Alisha went out and said:” Oh… wait this reminds me.” Alisha grabbed the
shoes and tossed it to John:” Don’t forget to wash your shoes!”
“Children!” Mum cried in the hall:” I’m back.” Alisha yelled in
surprised:” Mum, you came back.” “Where is your brother John?” Mum asked.
She looked around and asked:” well…… I didn’t see him the whole afternoon
when I told him to wash his smelly snicker. I think he must be hiding some
where. “Ahhhhh!!!” a loud screaming sound passed into their ears. John ran
out and said to them:” r… run….hu…hurry…up, the…. Creeps…. Is… about to ….
Getting closer.” He said.
The creeps about to surround their three, but suddenly the creeps all
regroup into a large black hand John’s leg and pulled him into his room.
He saw him self just about to pulled into the darkness and locked him
under his bed for ever. He cried:” I have got plenty of Fears, and I got
enough of them, I’m not going to afraid of any thing from now!!!!!!” He
grabbed the hand and stretches it into pieces and the evil dark eye
disappeared and the creeps are all ran away.
“You made it kid.” Mum said. “But, I think I got some problems, I got
sting by those yucky creeps, and it’s very painful isn’t it.” John said
and went in his nice warm tidy…uh actually is messy room and his mouth
dropped wide and open:” G….. Such a mess, I think I need to get my super
large broom to tidy up this huge mess!” Not for long he went back and
tidied up the room.
In the midnight he woke up and walked to the toilet, but something pulling
his leg, and he getting down, down into darkness.

The extremely haunted island
“every one! Look, there is an island.” Captain Mambo screamed very
exciting, it was just about few hundred miles to go. Captain Mambo was
dreaming about getting a big prize for discover a new land when he got
back to England. Just then the ship began to shaking hard and woke him up
in his beautiful dream.
“Sir!” A seaman yelled: “We got storm.” “What?” captain Mambo yelled and
rush out of his room and straight to the board. He saw the weather
suddenly change into bad and sky changed from sunny to dark and cloudy,
Mambo felt something strange and a bad. Another big wave rose up and hit
the board hard. “Every one! The ship is going to sink, we have to leave.
“NOW!” Captain Mambo yelled hard. All the seaman jumped down and of course
captain Mambo jumpeddown and after few second he hold him up at the
surface of the water, he turn his body back and saw the big ship is
sinking slowly with lightning flashing. When he return his body into right
place, a huge wave rose above him and splash on him and push him very
fast. He trying to control himself , but it’s to late, he return his head
in right place so hard, he felt his head hits something hard and……
“Ehhh…... Ahhhhh……” captain Mambo saw something moving, something looking
at him, but he didn’t think about it. “You finally woke up, young man.” A
stranger said. “Where am I?” captain Mambo asked in very lower voice: And
who are you?” “My name is Dennison Crell, you can just call me Den, and
this island is called Dralend.” “Ahh... wait.” Captain Mambo interrupted:
“did you just say this is an island?”
He thought: is this island we just saw when our ship got sank? He got lot
of question mark is his mind. “You know, it is so bad that I’ve just ready
my fishing gear and the storm just coming down from the heaven!” Den
complained. Something flashed in his mind and he holds his head with one
hand, went out the door and Den followed.
“Did you see there?” Den point his finger in a direction: “I just saw you
lying down on the ground, and… You know.” Something is still repeating the
picture of when he’s in ship. Nothing happened. No ship sinking, no
lightening even no waves on the! How beautiful peaceful it covered, but
it’s only a mask. “Hheehhh….. My men…. Dead, all dead.” “Well.” Den said:
“you should felt lucky.” “Why you said that?” Captain asked. “There were
lot of ship sank around here, you not the only one, but you are the only
survivor that I met ever! Here, come with me, I will take you to a place.”
Den said and drag Mambo’s arm.
“W…wa…waits” Den said in breathless: “how can you be not tired, with your
injury head. Captain Mambo replied: “don’t forget one thing is….. I am
captain of the whole ship. As they going up and up they saw a sign: BEWARE
THE DEADLY CLIFF! And fences were around an area. Captain asked: “what is
this place? “ uhhah…. This is the cliff of dead; its name is Dreamer’s
Cliff.Recording of legend there were a boy who got lost in the mountain
that we are in now, he wants to see a way to get out of this mountain, he
got to a cliff which is Dreamer’s Cliff, he stand at the edge of the
cliff. Something pushing him into the cold dark water with the rough
rocks, when he realized it, every thing is too late and….. I think you
know the ending of that boy” Den told him: “the boy’s parents didn’t know
he was dead. On that night his mother was dream about the boy was fall
down the cliff, no longer his mother got pushed down the cliff. His father
dreamed about his son and wife jumped down the cliff too, so he got pushed
down the cliff. That’s the name comes from.” “So… you mean this cliff is
haunted?” captain asked.
“Not only the cliff…..” Den said with his face covered in shadows: “THE
WHOLE ISLAND HAS BEING HAUNTED, NO! IT’S EXTREMELY HAUNTED!”
As they climbing up and up, they both felt breathless.
“This is the place!” Den yelled. “Where is this place?” captain asked:
“uuh…… wait. Is this place haunted? “Not this one.” Den answered: “this
place is called EYE OF THE STORM. You can see lots of ships that sank
here, and see that?” Den pointed his finger to lots of island: “that’s
totally a “sank” area, it’s called THE SPARKLING DIAMOND. “Wooow! What a
good name.” Mambo announced: “and…., hey, Den, what is that thing in the
bush? Den? Where are you?” Den had vanished.
The creature was one step closer. Captain was keeping step back and SLIP!
He knows that he was standing at the edge of the cliff. The creature was
looks like wolf but its more look like a tiger or some sort of lion. As
the creature jump on him, he duck quickly and pull the dagger out and the
creature rush to him again, he duck his body again and let the creature
rush through. He quickly kicked the creature fell on the ground and stabs
the dagger into its chest, the creature let out the horror cry. “Wooow…
That was scary! Mambo said in half puff and watch the blood on the dagger.
Suddenly something was moving in the forest. He felt something going to be
really bad. Suddenly few or more creature cry in angry and all rush on
him. One leader of that group was rushed ahead and scratched his shirt and
scratched the dagger off his hand and flew down the cliff. He was duck and
ran away.
He was running for his life, didn’t look under his foot and he tripped by
something. When he held it up and said: “what the? There are writing.” He
held the handle part it wrote: Dennison Crell. “What? It’s Den’s dagger?”
He was still thinking about the dagger, just then the “leader” in the
group jump on him, captain Mambo stabbed the dagger at its chest.
Suddenly he felt something soft and it keep sinking and sinking. Not for
long captain Mambo’s legs were covered by the sand: “oh… nooo…. This is
quick sand; I’m going to die in this haunted island. After few second only
his hands were at the surface of the sand, but it’s still not stopping
sinking……..
Aaahhhhhhaaahhhhhhhhh…….
Captain Mambo opens his eyes and saw lot of shadows around him.
“Uhh... Captain, are you alright?” one person said.
“Get… gets those creatures off me.”
Those seamen are confused. “You guys can leave me alone I need to calm my
self down. Captain realized that is only a dream, and he was still on his
ship. Nothing happened.
He got up his bed and felt something hard, sharp and cold. He pulls it out
and, it was a dagger with writing on it: Dennison Crell.
Is this a DREAM?

我承认： 我小学不如:yct_5 :yct_5 :yct_5 长这么大，除了英文的设计文档，没写过这么长的英语作文。:D 好厉害啊！
顺便问问，你把作文放在这里，征得他的同意了吗？:D :D 的确，我看了以后发现我的写作水平不如小学生。:tk_47 学了2年半的英文就有这等水平了~ 太厉害了！！！佩服阿 :L :L :L

我儿子是9岁多和我们一起到这里的, 现在已经12岁了.说实在的, 他的学习我从来都懒得过问. 在语言班的时候, 老师经常安排他们到学校图书馆借书看. 时间长了, 读的书也就从简单的到一些长一点的故事书.在家里都是中文, 包括电视, 在家里也从来不讲英语.
我一个朋友的孩子在这里开始上的小学, 结果现在在家里说汉语的时候也经常夹着英语.
我觉得就是一个语言环境的问题. 唉, 连我自己都写不出来. 我当年的雅思写作都不知道怎样写的..... 自叹不如

非常好的作文
楼主的儿子很有语言天赋，这个应该是遗传了爸爸妈妈。不是每个孩子来了没超过3年就能有这样子的提高的。我觉得你家儿子不光是语言的天赋，还有想象力和创造力。
上次和一个妈妈聊到这里的教育问题。确实这里小学的其他教育可能是落后于国内的，但是在语文方面（英语，国内当然就是中文）还是很重视的。小孩子很早就开始被鼓励做大量的阅读和写作了。
我之前读了一段时间这里YEAR 12 的英语课程，也很有体会。真的是大量的阅读和写作。很有帮助。对于我们这些大人，没有在这里经过正规的英语训练的话，真是赶不上他们的。 写得真好， 楼主家里教育很成功:D :good :good

这里的小学的确会有一些问题, 比如不像国内那样对犯错误的孩子严厉惩罚. 老师对上课调皮的孩子也只能忍耐. 但是西方的教育最大优点就体现在孩子的创造力, 想象力以及自己动手的能力等.可能不会像国内孩子那样学到非常多的知识, 但是孩子的独立生存能力要强很多.我儿子现在的小学环境就不太好, 很多学生素质很差, 而且教室经常在晚间有人闯入, 弄得乱七八糟. 我已经把他转到附近的私立, 是教会学校, 8-10年级每年学费大约4000元, 可以一次性付款, 也可以分期, 每个月或每两周付. 环境好很多, 看上去就像学校的样子. 我们一家三口去参观学校, 校长和年级主任(好像是)亲自接待, 介绍情况, 然后又安排2名学生带我们四处参观. 虽然费用高些, 但是环境好很多.最起码那种欺负人, 说脏话的应该会少很多.
