请问 bum wrap 怎么解释?

as I said, it's an improper form, a spoken language misuse.The cause of it, is due to their same pronunciation("w" is silent).Therefore, even if u may find ppl using "wrap" instead of "rap" popping out in articles doesn't necessarily justify that it IS the correct n original phrase in English.Again, in the link u've offered, the meaning explains as he was treated"unfair", or got a "bum rap".

bum rap

a false charge, typically one leading to imprisonment : he's been handed a bum rap for handling stolen goods.
• figurative an unfair punishment or scolding.
In other words, in the article, Because Sean Connery is regarded as playing one of the better Bond characters, George's acting probably wasn't of the same standard as Sean Connery's and therefore received a lot of criticism from the media for it!
