高出一般收入数倍的工资，丰厚的福利，宽松的工作环境，简单的人际关系，没有晋升的烦恼，汽车别墅，海外度假，子女的私立教育等等。

You only need to improve your English.
All the resources you need are available online from website in Australia. Like AMC...

But hurry, things may change in the future.
There is still a shortage of doctors aross Australia, but maybe will change in the future.
--most medical schools increase the recruitment, and a couple of new schools have started already.
--the trainning position is not increased in proportion with the increased student number.
--in the light of financial crisis, the furthur funding for medical trainning looks unlikely.
--overseas trained doctors pouring in Australia in recent years.
   (most from english speaking background, like UK, India, Sri Lanka...)

The chances still there, but need to be hurry.
Talk about with your friends about this issue, welcome more Chinese Doctors join the Australian Workforce.
The study is hard but the reward is huge, you will secure your whole life with easy and top of the level living standard!!!

发此贴的目的是希望看到更多的从大陆来的华人医生。
这里的华人医生多是马来西亚华人和其他东南亚华人的后裔。
最近很多印度和斯里兰卡的医生来这里。他们的英语能力占优势，和英语教育有关。
中国的医学教育并不比其他国家差，主要是英语跟不上。
我知道国内有不少医生的收入不低，但主要是靠红包和其他灰色收入。
而更多的医生的收入一般，和付出的学习不成比例。
为什么不来澳州享受合法的高收入呢？

So many Indian and Sri Lanka doctors work here.
If your English is not a problem, job is easy to find.

Chinese medicine is possible but that is not mainstream, and income can not compare with Doctors.

不单单是英文呀,要考过MCQ,要考过临床面试,英文可以最后才考的.工作嘛,倒是能找到的,只要不挑地方.

不考英文的前提是先移民，但从海外拿工作签证必须考英语。

楼主的介绍让人向往，我目前正在通过LG办理技术移民，正发愁自己10几年的专业技术可能不得不放弃了（神经内科专业、硕士学位），自认一直是个认真负责的好医生，英语水平，下点功夫应该没问题。能否请LZ详细介绍一下获得国外行医资格的途径。对我来说如果移民成功，如何获得；如果不能成功移民，如何操作？是否必须要进学校读书？望LZ不吝赐教。谢谢！！

医生赚钱实在太容易了，BULK BILL的病人一个收30，平均五分钟看一个，一天看六十，就是一千八，就算给人打工，拿70%，也是一千两百六。没来澳大利亚时，我还以为中国医生看病最快呢。来了才知道，中国医生致富靠开药，澳大利亚靠人头，都不含糊。

楼上应该走physician的路，专业为Neurologist, hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). 持有FRACP的fellowship.
The Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN) is the national professional association of neurologists.

如移民成功有三条路可走：
1 OET > AMC MCQ > AMC Clinical exam > physician trainee > physician exam(two parts) > ANZAN exam > FANZAN (specialist) overall 8-10 years.
2 Areas of Need (AONs) positions　（多是直接被rural area直接聘用，并接受12个月practice under peer review ）后可不通过college考试一直在该地区工作，但不能换地方。 overall 1 year.

  此路是最快的捷径，但要求相当高，英语能力，和直接找到工作offer.
3 Specialist Registration in Australia
  OET > AMC assessment > RACP assessment > FRACP (specialist, and work anywhere in Australai) overall may take 3-5 years.

  此路比较适合楼上，英语必须要好，要把从上学到工作到专业培训的详细文件准备好，才能通过assessment. 也许能免除部分考试。
如不移民有两条路走：

2 OET(china) > AMC MCQ (China) > Work Visa as resident doctor(Australia) > Physician trainee or OTP pathway

Do you think it is easy to get 60 patients everyday for every GP? Not in most of the GP's Clinic.
If you only and always do 5 min for every patient, you might be investigated by authority.
Maybe you are right, I will check with my GP friends, and get back to you.
My friend said it will be very tired to see 60 patients a day and can make mistakes, not recommend.
If a GP see more then 80 patients for 2 days, the GP will be investigated.

好贴! 绝对支持!!
俺身边从国内过来的医生好多啊!! 但是大多数现在都在当注册护士!! 其中已经有好几个通过考试然后直接在本医院成为医生了!! 祝贺他们, 也希望其他的tz努力!!! 努力!!

最痛恨的是, 当有个新来的国内的医生向一位越南裔的护士讨教有关护士问题的时候, 那个越南女人说, 怎么你们中国那么多医生都在这里当护士啊, 我手下就有几个哪!!

希望各位同仁在生活安定下来以后, 一定一定记住再接再厉, 向医生的职位冲刺!!  为华人争光!!

这里的斯里兰卡和印度的医生特多！ 但医术不敢恭维。本人是领教过他们的医术了。

Hi David,
People doing Ultrosound here called sonographer, they have to finish a 4 year degree course or pass the exam after certain amount of supervised work in hospital. They are not doctors, the report will be reviewed by doctors like cardiologist et al.

For the exma, apart from the clinical skills there are many basic science as well.
For the job, you can look through website like careerone, mycareer, seek, or contact hospitals directly.
If they need people, you can just start work and do the exam later. The pay is average.

sonographer's way is different.

first, you should have your overseas sonographer qualification assessed by the Australian Institute of Radiography.

then, you can lodge your skilled immigration application. in this part, tons of info in freeoz.

gained your pr, find a job as sonographyer or whatever you want to be.

感谢楼主和echo，echo是超声回声啊，你是超声医生吗？
但你们两讲的好像不完全一致啊，据我所知，拿到overseas sonographer qualification是第一步，要不绝对当不了超声医生，连技师都不行。怎么楼主说现在就可以找工作了呢？
我是准备拿到pr（老公是申请人）后先读书，毕业后是否有资格拿资质呢？
疑问挺多的，怎么能和楼主取得进一步联系呢？

I have known someone start working without pass the exam, but can only work in the specific hospital which gives you the offer.
You English should be good enough to take the work.
The main different is if you are doing the TTE(transthoracic echo), you should follow the protocol to do a detailed exam for every patient, normally takes 30-40min in an experienced hand.
1, Left parasternal window - Long axis(LA, LV, MV, AV, RV, AA),  short axis(AV, PV, TV, MV, apex), RVIT, RVOT.
2, Apical window - A4Ch, A5Ch, A2Ch
Do deatiled chamber evaluation, doppler, 2D, color doppler, systolic and diastolic function.
Not like China, 10 minute one patient.

到了澳洲再做打算吧
现在怎么想象都不能描绘出真实的澳洲生活

我接受的建议是：
1  做为副申请人，先学习510小时的英语课程
  逐步的认识社会，让英语融入自己的生活，也让自己融入澳洲的生活。
2  然后学习老年护理专业，拿到执照可以到老人院工作糊口（我本身是工作十年的护士，本科学历）
3  选择合适的护理专业学习一年或者是两年，拿到执照就可以拥有稳定的工作了。

医生的学习应该会更辛苦一些吧，因为好的前景必定会有更多的付出，在论坛中经常会看到人说药学有多么的难。医生也会是这样，而且学费一定很高。不能说有毅力有信心就一定能办成所有的事情的。
